In this truck, which we are told was not covered in fca's recall, the rollover activated air curtain was not signaled to deploy in a very clear highway speed rollover, and the module download report shows the crash event and the 2 prior, identical data for each, and nonsense pre-crash data for things like such as the wheels not turning, 0 vehicle speed, 0 rpms. If I put any item under the drivers seat it causes the airbag warning light to come on even a piece of paper, if it touches the wires it come on. The power steering stopped workind in the middle of a turn.
My air bag light comes on and says it needs serviced had it to the dealership and they replaced a loose connector but the light still comes on periodically.

The contact was informed that her son may have overcorrected while driving, causing him to crash into a guardrail. The vehicle flipped over several times. The air bags failed to deploy. The contact owns a 2015 Ram 1500. While driving 45 mph, the contact lost control of the vehicle due to black ice on the roadway. As a result, the front driver's side of the vehicle crashed into a cement barrier. The vehicle ricocheted off the cement barrier and the front passenger side of the vehicle became damaged. Involved in a mva during a snow storm. Responding to a fire call driving down hill when vehicle infront stopped in middle of the road. Tapped on brakes and truck started to slide. Truck lost control due to slippery road conditions.truck went through a tree and telephone pole and my seat belts never locked and air bags did not deploy. Trucks front frame was wrinkled and bumper snapped in half. While stepping on the brakes seat belts never locked.
The dealer had to replace the clockspring due to problems with the horn, airbag and steering/electrical. This was the same problem for 2012-2014 Ram 1500S that were recalled, mileage for the truck is about 65000. Cost for fixing it was $762.67. Chapman Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram of scottsdale, Arizona (3800 N 89th St, 85251) was made aware of the failure and requested that the vehicle be brought in for diagnostic testing. The contact owns a 2015 Ram 1500. While driving 60 mph, the rear suspension's air system abruptly activated causing the vehicle's rear end to lift and the front end to drop abruptly. I had a front end collision with a guardrail at about 45 to 50 miles an hour the airbags did not deploy. Ram truck is coming to look at it to see why they didn't deploy. I didn't know where else to turn to that's why I am contacting you and letting you know what happened. Nobody was seriously injured I was on route us 35 heading West in beavercreek Ohio.
2015 Ram 1500 restraint system failed to activate during a significant crash. Entire lower bumper torn off, chrome solid steel bumper was completely mangled. Frontal frame brackets (4 total) were crushed like an accordion, side support brackets of the front bumper were bent back into the wheel well with the bumper. Accident was dry pavement, sunny weather, part of 6 car pile up, impact estimated greater than 25mph into a stationary vehicle. Permanent medical issues due to complaint system restraint system failure. Requested dealer to review the restraint system software to determine if it should have activated. Dealer had no idea how to find the data recorded during the accident.

2015 Dodge Ram 2500 mega cab 4X4 pickup truck. The airbag in a 2015 Dodge Ram 2500 truck failed to deploy after the truck was involved in a severe frontal collision. The truck had been subject to two previous NHTSA safety recalls concerning air bag restraint controls (NHTSA recalls #15V-460 & #17V-302) and both recalls had been completed by the truck dealership. The truck was stopped at a red light when it was struck by another vehicle resulting in significant frontal damage. The vehicle was struck with enough force to displace the truck rearward approximately 15 feet. The airbag restraint failed to deploy during the collision and the in-dash message system in the truck displayed a message about airbag requiring service at the accident scene. Driver required ambulance Transport to the hospital. The airbags in the other vehicle, which struck this truck, did deploy as expected, and the driver of the vehicle in which the airbag deployed did not require ambulance Transport. ## VIN passed ## Dodge Ram 2500 2015 ##
The contact owns a 2015 Ram 1500. As soon as the vehicle was started, the air bag warning indicator illuminated and a chime was heard. The vehicle was taken to the dealer (alan samuels Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge in waco, Texas) where it was diagnosed as a tcm failure that caused the air bag warning indicator to illuminate. The tcm needed replacement. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 98,000.
I was hit head on by a drunk driver. I was doing sixty miles per hour when the impact occurred. My truck flipped three times before coming to a stop. None of my airbags deployed.
Takata recall. The contact owns a 2015 Ram 1500. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 17V302000 (air bags); however, the part to do the repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The dealer was contacted (bebby boyd Dodge in gonzalez, tx) where it was confirmed that the parts were not available for the recall remedy. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and was not able to confirm when the parts were to become available. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.
