I have had to replace the fuel pump twice. The first time was in 2006 at around 27,000 miles. I was on the highway doing 55 when it went out May 10, 2014. I had about 101,900 miles this time. I also have problems with the fuel spilling out of the tank when fueling up. I never reported this because I didn't realize this was a common Jeep problem.

My Jeep has had a constant issue with gas shooting out the spout when filling it up. I have contacted the dealership locally and was told they are waiting for a recall. This was in late 2005 with same vehicle with different VIN series. This is 2014 and no recall. I have contacted manufacturer many time and told no reported issue for this VIN series.
