Safety recall N46/NHTSA 13V-252: Safety recall notice was received by mail in January 2014, contacted dealership as directed to schedule an appointment. Dealership said they had no parts and had no idea when they would receive the parts. Called the Chrysler group recall assistance center on May 5, 2014. Was told that Chrysler still had no parts available applicable to this recall. Furthermore, and even more concerning, there is no projected time-table for distributing the appropriate parts to dealerships. This recall was originally issued June 19, 2013. I do not feel that an entire year or more is an appropriate time frame to remedy this defect without charge and within a reasonable amount of time, especially for a defect that can cause fuel leaks and possible fires from a rear end collision.
