Leather instrument panel (ip) cover delaminating- my whole leather dashboard is bubbling up and coming off. Jeep said they wont do anything about it because the X81 recall was only for cars 2011-2014. My car is 2015 summit with the same exact problem.
Tipm, shift module and ticm causes the Jeep to serious malfunction. All alert lights on the dashboard and shifter light up, wipers come on, vehicle will stop and is unable to drive, motor accelerates, cooling fans are activated on high all at one time and vehicle will not shut off. When the vehicle does shut off then it will not restart, while driving at any time. Vehicle acts as if possesed.!!!!!!!!! this vehicle is not safe. Everyone knows this including fca.

I purchased a pre owned 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee altitude from titan auto sales in worth il on june13,2020. At the time of purchase I was given the 2 sets of keys in which I carried only one key with me when I use the truck. On June 28, 2020 my parked and locked Jeep was stolen from a mall parking lot by a crook/S who used a laptop to unlock and start my vehicle. I am not only hurt and upset but I am ferious and utterly confused on how a well developed push start vehicle with supposedly high ranking vehicle was stolen by a laptop. This vehicle was valued at $18,000 and a individual was able to steal my vehicle without a key. I have both of my keys to my vehicle but I have no vehicle. I just don't understand how can Jeep create a vehicle and sell it for $40,000 but the vehicle is not properly secured or protected from cyber auto thieves. I didnt get a chance to enjoy my new vehicle because it was stolen 15 days later after I purchased it from a dealership by a cyber auto thief. I am glad that I have insurance but my trust in Jeep vehicles have been ruined from this experience and I can not recommend a vehicle like this to anyone whose interested in Jeep vehicles because obviously it's not worth it. I just want to know how can Jeep prevent this from happening or if they even know that their vehicles can be hacked by a laptop.
The active headrest on the passenger seat spontaneously deployed while I was driving to work. There was no rear end collision to cause the deployment. I was the only occupant in the car when it happened. It startled me so much that I almost ran off the road when it happened. I was driving about 35 mph on a city street about 8:00 am.
At 70000 miles, my air conditioning system began to hiss and not operate fully. I am told it has a leak in the system but as I look online, this is a common Jeep problem for 2015 models. They are recommending a system replacement on a 4 yr old vehicle (at the time of first occurrence). Normal wear and tear. No off road use. It's not isolated.
When driving on the highway, there is an extremely loud buzzing noise from the front of the windshield wiper area. The encasing being loose and dry rotting. This will eventually fall apart and cause issues with the wiper module.
I purchased a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee-VIN#[xxx], from feldman Chevrolet of new hudson on 05-25-2019. When I registered the vehicle on Jeep.com, I was notified that two critical safety recalls were awaiting attention from 2017. The brighton Jeep dealer not only confirmed this but questioned how feldman Chevrolet sold the vehicle without addressing those safety recalls and that it was illegal to do so. As of 06-20-2019 both issues have been addressed with brighton Jeep/Chrysler. I perhaps fear not really for myself, but others who purchased what they believed to be a safe vehicle from feldman Chevrolet and their life(s) may be in danger from not performing a through safety inspection. I have since lost all respect for that dealer. I was advised to seek legal consultation/advice. Information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).
The driver side active headrest deployed spontaneously while the car was parked. The car has not been in an accident. The headrest popped forward and the plastic pieces that held it in place were broken.
Our 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee has been experiencing stalling issues since October 2019. We have now had the vehicle in to earnhardt Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram in gilbert, Arizona for a total of 10 time and 70 days for the same issue. The Jeep stalls when braking and slowing down which means you loose power steering and power brakes. The driver must bring the vehicle to a complete stop, shift into "park", and then try to start the vehicle. While this has only happened on surface roads, the stalling poses a severe safety issue. We need to have this problem resolved.
Our 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee eco diesel stalls when slowing. We have taken our Jeep earnhardt Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram service center 10 times and they have been unable to solve the problem when the vehicle stalls it creates a severe safety situation. When the Jeep stalls you loose power steering and power brakes and the engine is dead. One must brake, shift into park, and try to start the engine while putting on your emergency flashers. Sometimes the engine does not start the first time. This has only happed on surface streets so far. The Jeep warranty case number is 76048098. All of the service visits have been documented. See attachment for more details.
The headrest of the driver's exploded and shot forward while slowly driving forward and injuring the neck of the driver. The vehicle was not impacted by any other vehicle, but the headrest safety feature malfunction causing injuring.
My car goes from drive, to park, to neutral or reverse with little to no touch of the gear shifter. This is a huge safety issue, as recently assuming I was still in drive mode, noted that the gear had actually shifted to neutral. Had it shifted to reverse instead, my children and I could have been badly hurt, likely found to be at fault, consequently also facing financial anguish. Also, the gear shifts while in motion, which is even additionally dangerous being that I live in a city where the highway is my primary method of traveling.
My wife was driving down the road when all of a sudden the driver side headrest deployed hitting her in the back of the head. Luckily there was no accident but she had to pull off the road to figure out what had hit her in the head.
Active headrest restraint deployed while driving on the interstate. No rear collision or other accident occurred. Dealership indicates the "tabs" broke off and therefore cannot be reset. Quoted me $816 to replace the headrest. Seems exorbitant. And something that, as a safety component, should be the subject of a recall (voluntary or otherwise) to be fixed. Consumer stated vehicle has been repaired.
