Consumer received recall 04V332000 concerning the front coil springs. The consumer made an appointment. When the consumer arrived at the dealer, she was told that her vehicle was not covered under the recall due to VIN. The manufacturer was notified.

Recall O4V332000 concerning front coil spring. Consumer was told by the dealer as well as the manufacturer that parts for this recall would be available in December. As of today, these parts were still unavailable. Later consumer contacted the manufacturer again, and was told that parts were still unavailable. The consumer stated that there were no failures.
The left side front end suspension coil spring snapped one night while parked on a paved driveway. The failure caused substantial damage to the front end components and ruined a tire. *
Concern regarding failure of the coil spring of Ford Taurus. Campaign id number : 04V332000. The consumer received the recall notice after the failure occurred. The tire blew out as a result of coil spring failure. The dealer informed the consumer they would reimburse him for the repair and the cost of the tire, but they would not replace the other coil spring and the shield would not be installed until mid December.
Notification recall 04S17 safety exists in 2000 Taurus, front spring rusted thru and snapped off piercing the tire recall# 04V332000. The consumer was told that the parts were not available to perform the recall.
Front coil springs had been recalled, however this vehicle was not included in the recall.......according to original recall all vehicles regardless of VIN were included.
Two front coil spring break, require replacement of tires that were punctured both of the vehicle's front coil springs broke within a week of each other. The consumer requested reimbursement in the amount of $571.71 but only reimbursed $474.83.
Concerns for possibility of tire being ruptured while driving. The consumer received a recall notice which stated even though there was a possibility that tire could rupture that it was ok to continue driving the vehicle, because the parts would not be available until Dec 2004.
The consumer received a recall noticed referencing the potential of the front coil spring to fracture. The consumer is concerned because the parts for repair are not available.
Driver's side front coil spring broke, damaging the shocks and tearing into the tire. Consumer took the vehicle to the dealership for repairs. Consumer's warranty was not honored, and consumer had to pay for the repairs. Consumer contacted the manufacturer, and was told there was nothing they could do. Vehicle was being recalled for the same problem. Consumer consulted the manufacturer about a possible reimbursement. As of today they have been very uncooperative. Also, the rear coil spring broke, and consumer again had to pay out of pocket for repairs.
The consumer took the vehicle in for recall number 04V332000. However, the dealer found that the rear has the same exact problem. Ford told the consumer that there was nothing they could do. Please provide any further informatioin.
The driver's side front spring broken and a punctured strut, ruptured tire, and a broken link. The passenger's side spring cracked prior to this and was replaced at the consumer's expense. The consumer found a recall on NHTSA site which described the identical failure. The consumer request reimbursement for both failures.
Front coils spring malfunctioned. As a result, front end was sitting very low.consumer was concerned that the front end will collapse while driving. A recall was issued, however the part will not be available until December.
After receiving a recall letter on the front coil spring, consumer called the dealer to set up an appointment. Consumer was told the vehicle could not be serviced until November or December 2004.
