Takata recall. I received safety recall notice 16S26/NHTSA recall 16V-384 in July 2016. I heard nothing from Ford and wrote to Ford on 9/19/2016. Ford replied with a form letter on 9/29/2016 and assigned case # cas-10670226-D7R4V2. They did nothing about the airbag. I wrote to my local dealer on 2/28/17 and received a telephone reply a week or so later, since then nothing. It has now been almost a year and Ford has done nothing about what is described by natsa as possibly causing "serious injury or death." I am afraid every time I drive this vehicle and I will not let my grandchildren in it. I want the vehicle repaired or replaced.

Takata recall - my truck was recalled on June 1, 2016. I have researched through Ford Motor Company and your web site and this truck has been in use in Alabama (high heat and humidity) and is old (2007). I am the one owner of this vehicle so according to your criteria, I should not have to wait over one year for replacement of this dangerous equipment. Takata recall. This recall was announced a year ago. The remedy is still incomplete and we have not been contacted for repair. They are still making new cars, why do they not take time to fix this problem so that in the event of airbag inflation, we will not get hit with pieces of metal ?
Takata recall #: 16S26 NHTSA recall number: 16V384 it has been almost a year and this recall has not been remedied since. This truck is only a two-seater and it is driven by a senior citizen. This truck was bought because there would be only two seats (one for my father and one for my mother).
