Takata recall on June 1, 2016. No corrective action in any form by Ford corporate. Ford dealer did not help in any way. I've been living with the risk of an exploding takada air bag inflator for nearly 11 months. High risk of injury. No injury to date.
Takata inflators - when can I expect a resolution to this problem? it has been almost nine (9) months since I received the recall notice. Other companies have resolved this problem in much less time. Our Honda was repaired in less than two(2) months and Honda also provided us with a rental until the problem was resolved.

Takata recall I was notified of the recall for my truck early in 2016. When I called my local dealer about getting it fixed, they told me they don, T have the parts and may take a while, but said the truck was still safe to drive. In the mean time I continued to drive my truck since it was my main mode of transportation for work. One night driving with a passenger in the vehicle that I was hit by another driver, something that was completely out of my control. Both driver and passenger airbag were deployed. My passenger was diagnosed with a minor concussion and still suffering from migraines. This recall has been for many cars and there are many others driving around with their and their passengers lives at risk. You can not stop someone else hitting you while driving along. This is a bug issue that needs to get resolved before more people get hurt or worse. Airbags are suppose to keep us safe and protect us from getting hurt not causing injuries.
For 8 months I have tried to get my recall fixed and the parts still are not available. I feel it is unsafe to drive a car with defective airbags and I would like this recall addressed.

Recall notice July 2016 for passenger airbag with no follow up. Calls to Ford indicate parts still being checked. This has been six months w/out action and a clear and present danger for not only a passenger ~ in this case a child ~ but for flying parts in the event of a collision to the driver.

Takata recall I got a recall notice in July of 2016. Since that time I have called 2 local dealers and Ford directly. None of the people I spoke with has any information available as to when this defect is to be repaired. Since this defect is from takata and involves the passenger side airbag, my wife is reluctant to ride with me in the passenger seat. All I get from these people is wait wait, wait. I am tired of waiting. Can you help me get this resolved.
