I have not had an accident or injury of any kind. I was simply informed through the mail and by the Ford dealership near my home of the defective airbags.
Takata recall. After receiving a recall notice from Ford Motor Co., I have contacted the Ford dealership where we purchased the vehicle in question (shamaley Ford el paso, tx). Apart from the fact that the customer service experience at shamaley Ford is feckless and very unpleasant, they have yet to provide a clear and concise explanation or timeline regarding the repair / replacement of the airbags present in our vehicle. It has been over a year, and no information regarding the recall has been provided by either Ford Motor Co. Or shamaley Ford.
