I have contacted the vendor after it being over a year, and I am still being told that they have no plans to do anything because they are not the only ones who bought those airbags, and it is really me who would have to do something, which I guess would be to find the airbags myself and replace them.

Takata recall: I received a recall notice (16S26 / NHTSA recall 16V-384) from Ford on 23-Jul-2016, and no instructions since that they have parts available to fix it. That is over 15 months. This is an unreasonable amount of time to resolve this situation.

I spoke with my local Ford dealer yesterday and the parts were still not available.

Takata recall, I got the notice last July and have called, written and stopped in person to get the repair and Ford claims they do not have the parts. I live in Florida where it is hot and the conditions are ripe for the airbag to explode.
I have called and stopped by Ford dealerships in dallas and rockwall, Texas over a period of years and been told they do not have the replacement airbags and that I will be called when they arrive. I have not received any calls and get the same reply every time I ask. I am afraid to allow passengers in my car due to the risk, which has severely impacted my ability to use my car normally.
