CarComplaints.com Notes: Power steering problems started rearing their ugly head in the 2010 Fusion, so you'd think Ford had plenty of time to make sure those problems didn't creep into the 2012. But here we are.
And much like the power steering, we’re still seeing the same throttle body failures that started in 2010 continue in 2012.

Takata recall Ford has send a recall on March 2017 and as of today, October 29th 2018 has not yet provided replacement of the defected airbag. Furthermore is refusing to address a dashboard light of the passenger airbag, saying that it is not related to the recall.
Takata recall has not been in a timely manner. My first notice was back in March 2017. Get the run around from the dealership every time I call them and also received notices in the mail about the recall. That is my only car I own told the dealership that so he said keep calling to see if the part is in nothing yet has been done.
Takata recall. I have received several recall notices in mail. I contact dealer, but they just blow me off and tell me they will call me when ready. It's been over a year.
Takata recall - I received a recall notice on this vehicle due to the airbags in March of 2017. When I took the vehicle in, they told me that there were no recall parts available and they did not know if they ever would be available. Thus I'm still driving the car with defective airbags.

Takata recall I received a recall letter but have not received replacement to correct the problem in a timely manner. In fact, it has been over a year since I was notified. I keep receiving the same stupid answer when checking on it: "parts are not available. You will receive another letter from Ford when to have it repaired". how can Ford continue to make Fusion with air bags for new cars? it is important that they replace the ones in recalled vehicles, too!
Takata recall. I have had no communication from the Ford Motor Company regarding when parts will be available for replacing the passenger side airbag. My car has been sitting in my garage for a month and a half now. My local dealership has no clue as to when parts will be available. This is a totally unacceptable situation as I cannot drive, sell or trade my car in this situation. I would like to know what is being done to make these parts available and when. I would appreciate help and a response in this matter.

I checked online to see if there were any recall notices for my 2012 Ford Fusion, to which I found an open recall for the passenger air bag. I took it to the dealer and they said they don't have the part yet but that I am not able to use my car for safety reasons and so they put me in a rental until it's fixed. It's been over a month and a half and there's still no part or communication about timing and the rental is much smaller than my car and very inconvenient with my current family situation.
Takata recall - I am tired at being strung along by Ford. Every month for over a year I have called to see when parts will be available and the answer is always "next month" or "by the end of the current quarter." My understanding is they are under an NHTSA order to have had the parts available by Dec 2017. Their corporate customer support call center is not very helpful. NHTSA needs to put more pressure on Ford.
