Throttle body issues have led to a ton of reports about a sudden deceleration and loss of power while driving. Ford issued a “customer satisfaction program” in March 2014 that, unsurprisingly, has left very few customers satisfied.

2010 is also the year we started seeing complaints about the power steering failing. Throttle and steering failure? Yeah, that’s why this is a clunker.

Takata recall - there is a recall since January, 2018 for the airbags on my daughters car and I called and the parts are still not available and the passenger airbag could explode if the vehicle is involved in a crash. Why is it taking so long for the manufacturer to supply the parts?

Takata recall... I have received three notices about my car being affected and all three said not to bring car to dealer at this time that they would notify me. It has been months and still not recalled. I recieved a letter today from auto airbag settlement telling me to get them fixed asap. Who do I need to call when they have told me they will notify me? its been long enough

I received a notice about a settlement in the mail that my car may have defective air bags. I went on this site and entered my VIN and I indeed do have the defective takata airbags in recall. When I informed my local dealer about this, they said that they could not do anything for me. What if I am in an accident" why did I not get a recall notice in the mail" this makes me mad.

Takata recall we have been having trouble with the dealership getting them to let us know when the parts will be in. It started in February then in may we got another letter about the recall nothing was said or done by the dealership. I was told I could drive my car but I have grandkids and did not want them to be hurt or myself so I parked my car unaware that we could get a rental car and that was until we called Ford and enterprise. We got the car and now I am making payments on a car no dealership want for a trade in. Getting frustrated and need to know what to do with a stuck vehicle I cant use if it cant be fixed we need a replacement we have had a lot of Ford vehicles and have not had this problem before. Very disappointed.

Takata recall - I received a recall notice on this vehicle due to the airbags in may of 2018. When I took the vehicle in, they told me that there were no recall parts available and they did not know if they ever would be available. Thus I'm still driving the car with defective airbags.

Takata recall I have been waiting for months now for my airbags to be replaced and have not yet received any update. I have been in a rental car since then which is terribly inconvenient for me. I need my car fixed or I think that Ford should replace the whole vehicle!

Takata recall my car was recalled in June 2016. As of this date, my Ford dealer still says they do not have the parts and do not know when the parts will come in to fix this recall issue. Waiting over two years for parts is unacceptable. In December 2017, Ford sent me a letter telling me not to let anyone sit in my passenger seat due to this issue, essentially saying I could not use my car for its intended purpose (I.e., to carry passengers in my 5 passenger sedan). It is clear to me the manufacturer is waiting for me to sell the car so they don't need to fix it. Manufacturer recall number 16S26 NHTSA recall number 16V384
