Will notify me via mail to schedule an appointment to have this replaced free of charge (parts and labor). Still waiting on that letter to arrive.

Takata recall: I called the caruso Ford dealership, located at 3500 cherry ave., long beach, regarding the takata airbag recall. Jose, at the service department, confirmed the recall, but said they didn't have the part. When I asked about an estimated time, he said he refused to give me that information, and ended the conversation saying that Ford was gonna send me a letter when the part would arrive. Jose gave me the impression that Ford is refusing to help.

"takata recall" it has been over a year since I received letter of recall. I called 11/14/17. The Ford place in cullman Alabama told me they still have no air bags to repair my car.
Takata recall it has been a year and 4 months since I got the recall notice. Why haven't they got a fix yet. I'm worried every time I go out in traffic.
Takata recall: I have been in touch with the dealer, first when I received the recall notice from Ford in July of 2016, and once again today ( Nov. 8, 2017.) I may have called the dealer at least one other time earlier this year. Palm springs motors, palm springs, ca. Stiill does not have the parts and is unable to replace any defective airbag components. No incic=dents have occured with the exiting airbags, but since another vehicle I owned (Dodge Caravan, 1994 model, ) did have an airbag issue which may have caused an accident, I am anxious to have this problem corrected.

I just learned of a recall due to the takata airbag inflator on this vehicle. I called my local Ford dealership and was told that Ford does not yet have parts for this recall, even though the recall was issued in January of this year, so I have to wait until Ford takes action. Is this accurate?
Takata recall: Spoke with 2 different dealers that state parts have not been made available by the manufacturer. One dealer states that their notice was dated back in July 2016 and no parts have been available one year later.
