The Ford service representatives said the airbag is intacted with no hazards, and the airbag sensor needs to be replaced. The car was not in an accident, and there are no dents on either of the passenger doors. While sitting in motionless car, noticed the dash board airbag indicator was eluminated, and I was parked in the work parking lot on commercial blvd, behind work at 401 broadway ne 87103. I took the car to power Ford on 1101 montano rd ne, albuquerque nm 87107, on Wednesday January 24, 2018, where they are waiting on the passenger airbag sensor to come in. A diagnostics was completed to verify the condition of the car.

Takata recall: About two years ago I received a recall notice from Ford. No remedy to date and calls to the local dealer are not fruitful. Yesterday I got a safety recall that said "remedy parts" would be available in spring 2018 and until then I should not use the front passenger seat. Now the car is less usable for my family and it cannot be sold. I expect a better remedy than "don't use our product" until we can repair it. I suggest that every owner affected should be given a loaner car until their car is repaired and safe to use. Too many years have gone by. Ford is just stonewalling the problem and should be held accountable today.
