There's is an open recall on my vehicle that is unable to be repaired. It is unsafe to drive and may cause death or serious injury if the air bag opens up during a crash. There have not been any warning lights or sounds notifying me of the recall. I received an email about the recall from the dealership and was told there is no fix.

We have had a recall on our vehicle for over a year now. The finance and car dealership we are leasing our vehicle from is completely useless and has had zero interest in returning my phone call or assisting me in repairing our vehicle. I need emergency assistance ASAP as mine and my families life depend on it.

My airbag warning light came on and the system reported a seatbelt issue. There was a recall for my vehicle in 2014 that wasn-??t repaired. Over time my vehicle has had insurmountable electrical issues as well.
I received a recall in June 2023. I continually call the Chevy dealers and they state there is no remedy to have this recall done. Some one died from this issue why has GM not been forced to get these parts to dealers so this dangerous issue can be fixed"???" I don-??t have the option to not drive my vehicle I am a single parent that has to work. I do not want my child to be hurt or killed either if this airbag goes off! Please get this issue handled so we can have these airbags fixed. It-??s been over a year since I received this letter.
In June of 2023 I was notified of a recall on my 2024 Traverse. The notification states that if the airbag were to deploy, there is a chance of shrapnel being fired into the cabin and killing the occupants. (Recall N232404980). I have reached out to my local Chevy dealer multiple times and been told that there is no resolution at this time. As of today, I checked GM's web site and there is still no resolution. I feel that my safety and the safety of my passengers is at risk every time we are in this vehicle. I cannot afford to park this vehicle and wait for OVER A YEAR for GM to come up with a solution to this very dangerous issue. The vehicle is worthless to sell on the market. Anyone dumb enough to knowingly buy a vehicle with the equivalent of a loaded shotgun pointing at their face would have to be dumber than I am for driving it and allowing family members to drive it. But again, it's all I have so what can I do?
