There is a recall for the airbag, the vehicle has a warning light on inside the instrument cluster. I keep calling the dealer to have it repaired as I am nervous about having my son drive this car. The dealer keeps telling me GM has no remedy for repair. This is unacceptable, it's been years now that this airbag fiasco has been going on. Is NHTSA just going to let GM take their time until all of these vehicles equipped with faulty airbags just go out of service" What is the plan of action"

It's been over a year since this car was recalled and yet parts are not available to repair. The front driver airbag needs replaced and should it rupture, not only will the drive be injured but all occupants of the car. I will be selling the vehicle in the near future but without the repair I would not be able to sell it due to the severity of the recall issue.

We received a notice from Chevrolet in May of 2023 that our vehicle has been recalled for an issue with the air bag. Manufacturer Recall Number N232404980 NHTSA Recall Number23V334 I have tried Chevrolet and all local dealers so many times and keep getting brushed off that they can't do it. I can't rent the car, I can't use it for Uber/Lyft, I can't sell the vehicle. All because there is an open recall against it for a full year. My airbag light has now been on for several months and I dont want to drive it because of the fear that it might explode. So I pay taxes on a vehicle that mostly sits. I plan to drop it off with the local Cheverolet dealer and make them look at the error again (did it last year too). One year and no fix is unacceptable.
I had purchased this traverse about a year before this recall came out. Well the Recall is over a year old with no solution and everyone refuses to do anything about it. It is unsafe for my family to be in this vehicle with a potential bomb in the steering wheel that will shoot metal at my family and I if the airbag goes off. I need someone to do something about this recall. Fix it, buy the car back, provide a loaner or something. I am tired of taking a gamble on my family's lives because I am stuck with this vehicle.
