I received a recall notice for my 2014 Chevy Traverse airbag June of 2023. I have tried to set up an appointment to have it replaced many times and am told that parts are not available. Many manufacturers have already taken care of the replacement. I am concerned about operating my vehicle in an unsafe manner. When can I expect this to be taken care of?

Recall #: 23V334 or N232404980 still shows as incomplete, no remedy available. This recall was announced in May of 2023. We're almost a year and a half out with no solution from GM. I do not feel comfortable driving my vehicle in another Minnesota winter without this fixed. I am a parent of 4 young children who I also drive around daily. This is unacceptable to have a defect with the airbags that is life threatening, and GM has not offered ANY solution.

Nothing has happened yet but it's been on recall for over a year and says my air bag could have metal pieces in air back that can hurt or kill someone. There is no solution to this and it's been on recall since may of 2023
I have been receiving warning messages on my dashboard regarding Service The Stabilitrak, followed by Traction Control Off message and then vehicle shaking, losing steering power and engine shutting down for over a year. The issue occurs randomly making it difficult to repair. I have had it serviced multiple times by different mechanics and no one has been able to find a solution due to the random nature of the issue. This poses a risk to the vehicle occupants safety because when unexpectedly and suddenly losing engine power, steering and traction control all at the same time, it is very difficult to safely merge to the shoulder of a roadway. I have been left stranded in many locations including out of town. Due to my research this is a common issue with this vehicle that can be caused by multiple issues. I also have a recall on my air bag and warnings have appeared on my dashboard that has no remedy yet. The vehicle is not safe to drive and I depend on this SUV to transport my family of 7. I am also still financing, making it difficult to keep up with payments while trying to diagnose/ repair.
