When I turned on my vehicle today, none of the climate control system buttons were operational. Not able to turn on defroster, rear window defogger or adjust climate controls. Live in Minnesota so climate control is very important during the winter.
We purchased our Equinox from my wife's parents at about 30000 miles. We noticed after a short time that the windshield wipers left an "unwiped streak" in the middle of the driver's side wiper making it very hazardous any time conditions merited using the wiper. We changed the wipers multiple times with no resolve to the problem. Upon consulting 2 mechanics, they both made no changes saying there was no adjustment that could be made to the wipers. We then received the recall notice earlier this year. We can't really drive the vehicle with any chance of rain or other precipitation. This occurred with a Chevrolet service center as well.
I was driving in snow conditions, turned my wiper blades on, they went to the left and would no longer work. I had to get out of my vehicle and put the blades down. Thank god I wasn't far from home. Barely could see to drive home.
