1. the lighting recall I have had my car serviced at least 4xs for light.. the light is still not fixed, every time the hood is open and closed the light goes out. 2. I was sent recall letter about airbag, I went to have it fixed and was told that the sensor got wet and its my responsibility and was charged alomost 1K to fix it.3. my car while driving says settings are not accessible, this is constant and its not as though im trying to change the settings, while driving. Also the last time I took my car in for service I paid for my ac filter to be changed and it wasn't they said my tires were ok they were not. I have been kicked out of one dealership because the service manager was clearly a racist. I have had so many problems and when I call VW of America im put on hold, just to be told that there is nothing they can do. Now they are calling me over, and over to extend my warranty, I paid for my car in full.. I cant get one person to take my issues seriously, I can barely see the road when driving, the cars settings constantly change. Last but not least I paid for cosmetic issues and had a new battery put in all while under warranty. Because the service manager kicked me out of dealership.

Takata recall this unbelievable that a recall dated April 2016 from VW is still not being repaired. The local dealer is not helpful and really acts like he does not care one bit about this issue. What is the issue and while so long since Acura had already repaired my other auto!!!

Takata recall: Nothing has happened so far, but I was almost in a wreck this morning and I'm scared. What if my airbag deploys and seriously injures me or a loved one? I think a far solution would be to allow consumers to trade in defective vehicles with ones that do not have this airbag at the manufacturer's, I.e., takata's expense. They knew these airbags where defective and it took deaths and serious injuries for them to do the recall. Now, everyday, I'm terrified of being even in a fender bender. Something needs to be done and soon! we have known about this for almost two years now.

Takata recall. I bought the car in March 2016 from an official VW dealer in seattle, carter motors. VW had recalled this car on 9 February 2016, but the dealer did not inform me. I subsequently registered the car with VW of America, using a form supplied with the vehicle. I did not hear from VW and they did not inform me of the recall of my car. Once I found out about the recall status (using the NHTSA online tool) I contacted the dealer, but he was not willing to undo the original purchase, offering me half of what I had paid for the car "because it is affected by the recall". this was a $9,000 loss to me (I traded the car in, as I was not comfortable having my 18-year old daughter drive a car with an unresolved issue that has killed 14 drivers so far). I have two complaints: 1. VW of America is obviously not honoring its agreement to identify and contact drivers of recalled vehicles. I provided the vehicle VIN and all my contact details to the company, but never heard from them again. This seems to be in breach of the agreement VW of America has with the NHTSA. 2. an official VW dealer (carter motors) sold me a recalled car, without disclosing this fact. At the very least, that is ethically corrupt. They were subsequently unwilling to remedy this, stating they had "done nothing wrong", and I got to bear the loss.

Takata recall. An entire year has almost passed since being notified that the driver's side airbag in my vehicle is affected by the takata recall, yet I still have not received any notification on the manufacturer remedying the situation. All the dealer has to do is replace the airbag, that is the remedy! why am I waiting an entire year for the dealer to replace a defective driver airbag that has the potential to kill me if I get into a minor accident?! this is absolutely unacceptable and I demand a remedy free of charge soonest.
