Takata recall - there are no options given to us at this time knowing that metal fragments can cause injury or death to myself. I don't feel safe driving my vehicle and want either another car to drive or the option to get out of my lease. I feel unsafe and scared to drive my vehicle. And this is unfortunate because I do love my car. I have called Volkswagen and my dealership and no one is doing anything about it.

Takata recall since there is a chance that my driver airbag won't get activated in case of an accident, I am very concerned of my safety. This Cc is the 4th vehicle I lease from VW since 2009. In the interim, until VW and takata decide on the resolution of this major defect, who is responsible for my possible injuries/death in case of an accident" shouldn't VW be more concerned of my safety while they resolve the problem? shouldn't they give me a temporary vehicle to drive meanwhile? it is potentiolly a life-threatening situation. What are my right in that case"

Takada recall was involved in a wreck and my air bags did not deploy, none of them. Now I find out that there is and has been a recall on the air bags, when I contacted VW of America this was never mentioned they stated only way they would deploy was if I was in a accident and was not able to walk away from it.. I was driving and a vehicle pulled in front of me and they were rear ended. My car was totalled.

2013 VW Cc was a total loss in an accident with semi-truck. Side curtain airbag failed to deploy, after multiple impacts on driver side. Final moderate front overlap crash with guardrail failed to deploy driver airbag. Airbag deployment threshold was certainly met for frontal crash and there is evidence of broken sensors. This incident could potentially be considered under NHTSA ongoing investigation PE 15-010 involving 2012 VW Cc.
