Takata recall the passenger airbag we first received the recall back in April 2016 I also owen a 2011 Subaru and the takata airbag was replaced back in January 2017 so I called Toyota back in October 2016 they had no answers to when they would start the recall repairs, I check the website today and still nothing here is what it said https://www.Toyota.com/recall remedy Toyota is currently preparing the remedy for this condition and will provide additional information as it becomes available. The remedy, when available, will consist of the replacement of the airbag inflator or the airbag assembly, depending on the vehicle model. __________________________ it has been over a year looks like to me they are not trying very hard if Subaru can find a replacement for there vehicles in less than a year

Takata recall - I was informed in May 2016 that I shouldn't use the passenger seat of my car due to this air bag recall. It is now Aug 29 2017 and still Toyota has no remedy for the problem. Is NHTSA able to do anything to support the consumer? I believe Toyota is simply ignoring the issue.
Takata recall it's been over year and I parts haven't arrived to change it...air bags are essential for the safety of everyone in the car.... no accident thank god! I want this problem fix immediately...thank you
Takata recall. Its been over a year since I was mailed a safety recall notice. I am concerned about the safety regarding driving this vehicle. The car will be driven in a coastal area in hot weather. This repair is not being done in a timely manner.
Takata recall. I received the airbag recall notice in may, 2016. More than a year later, I've heard nothing from Toyota. It's 15 months of not allowing anyone to use the front passenger side seat. It's been an inconvenience for a long time.
Takata recall my car is the Toyota Corolla 2011 and has been affected by the recall of the passenger airbag. It is highly susceptible to moisture humidity in fluctuating temperatures especially high temperatures. When I first bought this car I was living in dana point California which is right on the ocean literally I could see the ocean from my house and it has lots of moisture fluctuating high temperatures and humidity. I am now living in bellevue Washington which also has fluctuating high temperatures lots of moisture and this is what is susceptible to this airbag defect. I am a single mom and worried about the safety of my child of my nine-year-old son driving him around in my car. I did not know about this defect and have had people in the front seat many times risking their own life and their safety numerous times. I have even been in the passenger seat many times in my car risking my own life not even knowing it. I am unemployed and wanted to work for uber or lyft and was unable to do to my car safety regulations and have lost so much time and money due to my car's safety. No solution has come up until now all these years and time I have lost so much money by not being able to drive my car and I also wanted to become a nanny but was unable to do to my cars defects. I have no money to buy another car and struggle to pay my rent and provide for my son having no job and not even being able to drive my car barely at all. Luckily nothing serious has happened because I have to drive my car scared everytime I get behind the wheel does somebody might run into me and I could injure myself for my son. When I put every dollar into buying my car I had no idea that I would be putting myself in my son at risk every day for death. I would like to be compensated over the past four years for all of the money and wages that I have lost.
"takata recall" I received my recall letter back in May 2016 but have not received any notification on when remedy will be available. It's been over a year and I am still waiting. My college daughter is driving the car and I need to know that she will be safe when driving it. Please provide any information on the status of this as soon as possible.
Takata recall I have a 2011 Toyota Corolla. Other than the airbag issue I am complaining about, the vehicle is working fine. I drive it regularly. I received a letter in may, 2016 from Toyota, informing me that the takata airbag on the passenger's side is flawed. According to the letter, Toyota would prepare to replace the flawed airbag and would notify me should remedy be ready. 15 months passed. It is now almost September, 2017 and I have heard from Toyota again. The flawed airbag is still not replaced. I do not think Toyota is behaving in a way that shows they take customers' safety seriously. I demand a replacement and a payment for my inconvenience and danger.
Takata recall: I received a letter from Toyota indicating that it is unsafe for someone to ride in my passenger seat. It has been a year since I received this initial notice and yet Toyota still has not come up with a resolution for the airbags. Meanwhile I'm not able to purchase a new vehicle at this time. A solution needs to be determined in order to make my vehicle safe again.
"takata recall" Toyota has had my vehicle since 08/05/16 and still the only information I'm given is there is still no remedy. My concern is once the recall is remedied, the repercussions from my car sitting with no usage for so long will cause other mechanical/safety problems that will not be warrantied. I'm not in the position to buy a new vehicle or even replace/make repairs etc that may be needed. I contacted the Toyota customer experience center with my concerns and was told "Toyota is responsible to return the vehicle in the same working and cosmetic condition in which it was left". I requested that in writing...still waiting. Toyota should just give me another vehicle equal to mine..I'm sure the rental bill is adding up to about the same cost.
On four separate occasions (while car was in motion and in park) my front passenger seat alarm was alerting me to buckle up but I am always the only one in the car/no one is riding in front passenger seat. On that same side (front/right) an air bag panel keeps popping out/will not stay in place and I am very afraid there is a recall on my car and no one is aware of it. Would like to figure out how serious this is. Including a picture as well....please and thanks!
Takata recall. I have been waiting for Toyota to replace my airbag for over two years but I do not see any action from Toyota. I do not allow anyone to sit in the front passenger seat due to the fear of serious injury or death if the situation arise to the deployment of the airbag. This is so bad and hope something can be done to get this corrected.
