I was driving the vehicle under ideal conditions and both sides curtain airbag deployed to include the seat airbags. The cabin became smoky, causing the vehicle to veer off the road due to no visibility. The vehicle when up and embankment and back down before coming to a complete stop. Consumer contacted the manufacture immediatedly and was told that an investigator would take a look at the vehicle. Vehicle is currentlly under the possession of usaa and is in the process of being towed to service king, 1635 fort campbell blvd, clarksville, tn 37042 (931)245-1616. Attached is the requested cdr report (edr data) for ODI xxxxxxxx. The contact owns a 2019 Ram 1500. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign numbers: 19V067000 (service brakes, hydraulic) and 19V407000 (air bags, seat belts). The contact called atlantic Dodge Chrysler Jeep at 888-909-4754 (located at 2330 us highway 1 S, saint augustine, fl 32086) and was informed that the parts were not available. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and was not able to confirm when the parts were to become available. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.
After airbag deployment on my 2019 Ram 1500 the engine did not shut off automatically. The truck accelerated after the deployment despite standing on the brakes. End result was truck impacted guard rail after the collision with the other vehicle multiple times before it shut down.
Vehicle was pruchased from waldorf Dodge (06/12/20190 with two (2) open recalls, V07 & V71. As the customer, I found out about the recalls on my own (including one that had been known of since Feb 2019) and had to contact the dealership (who ignored the warning about the recalls during the sale and failed to tell me, the customer) to fix this issue.

Performance Dodge Ram (555 mantua pike, woodbury, NJ 08096, (856) 848-5008) was contacted and stated that they would follow-up with a response. The contact did not receive a response and was unable to schedule a diagnostic appointment. The manufacturer was contacted to address part availability. The contact had not experienced a failure. VIN tool confirms parts not available.
April 30,2019 my wife was in our yard and made a sharp right turn into driveway put on brakes truck didn't stop applied brakes harder truck accelerated brakes didn't stop truck and park-assist didn't stop truck. Truck went through steps then hit house knocking house off foundation. Air bag didn't deplore.
The contact owns a 2019 Ram 1500. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 70 mph, the vehicle struck a deer however, the air bags failed to deploy. A police report was filed. There was no injuries sustained in the crash. The vehicle was towed to a collision repair center where the body damages were repaired. The vehicle was not taken to be diagnosed for the failure. Neither the dealer nor the manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 3,700.
