The contact owns a 2016 Ram 1500. The contact stated that while his wife was driving at low speeds and making a right turn, the vehicle stalled without warning. The contact was provided a loaner vehicle for the two months. The vehicle was then taken to mac haik Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram (12111 katy fwy, houston, tx 77079, (713) 538-2700) however, the vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The contact stated the failure was due to throttle delay failed to respond. The vehicle was previously repaired under NHTSA campaign number: 19V757000 (engine and engine cooling) at nyle maxwell Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of austin (13401 highway, ranch rd 620 N, austin, tx 78717 (512) 518-1097). The manufacturer was contacted but no further assistance was provided. The failure mileage was 38,000. Consumer stated V08 was done in January and could not qualify to install VA7 update that restored the engine performance. The consumer stated his truck was part of a settlement Ram ecodiesel class-action and was awarded $3000 under the V08 recall whereas he chose not to have it done until parts are available under nthsa VB1. The consumer wanted VA7 update restoring the engine but fca is stating the consumer doesn't qualify because of the fact V08 done after January.

The contact owns a 2016 Ram 1500. After the contact received a recall notice for NHTSA campaign number: 19V757000 (engine and engine cooling), it was discovered that the coolant was low inside the vehicle, as listed in the recall. Autonation Chrysler Dodge Ram valencia (23820 creekside rd, valencia, ca) stated that the parts were not available. The manufacturer was also notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 48,000. Consumer also stated acceleration is lagging.

2016 Dodge Ram 1500. Attorney representing consumer writes in regards to vehicle fire after service center worked on the engine noises. Dealership refuses to cover additional repairs. Consumer seeks reimbursement for out-of-pocket expenses. Also, the tire pressure light was on.
