I started the truck and noticed that the controls on the steering wheel for the radio and blue tooth did not work. I also noticed that the horn did not work. I also do not know if this issue affects the air bag being able to deploy. I can not reset the oil life after I change the oil.

Air bag light kept coming on. Seen recall on my vehicle(15V-459), in regard to wire harness causing short in the electrical system. The dealer now state that the wire harness to the airbag has shorted out under the seat. Costing approximately $401. Could this be caused by the recall on 2014 Dodge Ram.
I was involved in a rear end accident. The person who hit me was going approximately 50 mph. I was stationary waiting to make a left turn. The front drivers seat broke causing the back portion to slam into the rear seat and the bottom to completely raise up. As a result I had no control over the vehicle causing some secondary damage. If there had been a person in the back seat they would of had catastrophic injuries as they would have been crushed by the driver seat. The airbags were emitting a "gas" but the airbags never deployed. I do not have photos of the seat but the brunswick county ems did take photos of the seat. And I am sure they can provide if further investigation is warranted.

Water inside cab from highmount tailight leaking causes fogging up of windows when highway speed is reached. Dealer replaced light but high humidity/water affected electrical components, and now the air bag light is on. I took it to the dealer for inspection, and have been waiting for 3 days for dealer to contact me with an appointment date. Wife feels unsafe driving with faulty air bag system. The leak is apparently a common defect caused by rain!!! and may affect electronics and electrical systems. Complaints go back at least to 2007when researched on line ---- no recall--- no safe vehicle either.

I was driving on a highway, suffolk county route 80, at about 40mph when I fell asleep at the wheel of my 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck. I ran off the road to my right, clipped a few small trees off, snapped a 6X6 fence post like a toothpick, and hit a utility pole dead center of my front bumper. Police and fire rescue responded. The air bags did not deploy. The seat belt saved my life. No other passengers in my vehicle.
3 recalls, side airbag inflatable curtain, steering wheel wiring, reprogram occupant restraint control module. Contacted local dealer months ago; said they would call with an appointment time, as soon as they received the parts, I'm still waiting for the call- dealer was scranton Dodge.
