Takata recall I don't mean to add fuel to the fire, but it has been almost nine months since a recall of my Pontiac Vibe 2009, purchased in 2008, was issued. Earlier a few years back, the driver airbag was replaced as part of a recall.no problem. We are in a very humid area, still nc is listed as a zone 2, further extending the wait time. And increasing the possibility of a tragedy. Please hurry with a solution. Thank you.

Takata recall almost 9 months ago, I was informed that my car's airbag could cause death by sending shards of metal at my head in a collision. To this day, there is still no remedy. I have contacted the dealership and was told they don't have any remedy outside of telling me to stop using my car. Since almost 9 months have passed, I felt the need to report here that gmac is not acting fast enough. No one can afford to rent a car for a year. This is not okay. Every day I worry about an accident because I can't afford another vehicle that is safer.

Tamara recall. Recall for front passenger airbag was issues 01/10/2017. As of 08/25/2017 the General Motors recall website states "recall incomplete. Remedy not available." For over 7 months I have not been able to have passengers in the seat. The problem with the airbag is identical to the one described for the Toyota class action settlement listed on www.autoairbagsettlement.com. is General Motors just dragging feet or waiting for a class action settlement?

Takata recall - I received a letter March, 2017 (5 months ago) that my Pontiac Vibe had a air bag recall. The letter warns that it is unsafe to sit in the passenger seat. This has forced me to keep my car in the garage most of the time. I can't sell the car easily. Since then, here has been no communication other than through the news. It is because of this lack of communication that I would never buy another GM car not to mention the other recalls issues.

Takata recall - it's been 8 and a half months since this recall has taken effect. The recall states that I should not have a passenger in the passenger seat until the airbag has been replaced. The airbag has still not been replaced and the recall status states "recall incomplete. Remedy not yet available". this is far too long for a potentially deadly issue to go unresolved and far too long for my wife and I not to be able to sit next to each other in our car. This needs fixed now.

Takata recall - why is it taking GM so long to finalize what they are going to go to correct this issue? we learned of this recall in January. We received a notice last week to have repairs made as soon as possible. After contacting GM twice and the dealership, I was informed that their is still no solution to this issue.

Takata recall - it has now been 5 months since receiving the recall notice (March 2017) and there is no eta as to when GM dealer will receive the parts to repair the airbag. The recall states "until the repair is performed, the front passenger seat should not be occupied." Understandable from a safety point of view, but it is not acceptable that this is still ongoing with no resolution in sight. It is unreasonable to expect someone not to have a front seat passenger and this is causing a huge inconvenience.
