For no reason, the airbag light on the steering wheel came on and has stayed on, the cruise control will not come on anymore, the horn will not work anymore, and the wipers are acting erratically. I contacted the dealer and they said the "clockspring" assembly in the steering wheel needs replaced for ~ $300-$350. They said it is a common problem. I checked online and found numerous reports of this failure so I thought I would report it. As I understand it, this design defect has effectively disabled my airbag and I think the manufacturer should fix it.
