Ea 01 007/air bag clockspring : vehicle experiencing no horn and air bag light remaining on. Dealer / manufacturer were not notified at this time. Cruise control locked up while driving.

Airbag light stays on. Horn and cruise control do not work. Dealer has advised consumer to fix the defect, clock spring would have to be replacd at consumer's expense.

While driving air bag light will come on dashboard. Consumer is concerned for deployment of air bags. The clock spring failure caused the air bag light to come on and was repaired. The horn does not work sometimes.

The clock spring broke on this vehicle. This disabled the horn and power to the cruise control. I know a few other minivan owners and I am not the only person that this happened to. I have never had a problem with steering wheel components with any vehicle I've owned in 30 years. I believe that there is a possible defect in this area.
