The consumer could smell gasoline coming from the vehicle. After taking it to the dealer, they discovered the fuel rail had disintegrated. The manufacture and his vehicle was not included in the recall 04V11000.

While driving at any speed consumer smelled a strong odor of gasoline inside of the vehicle. Upon close inspection under the hood the consumer found that the fuel rail had a pin hole in it. This was the second time that this happened to this vehicle. There is a recall for the 1996 and 97 models but, not for the 1995.

Recall 04V11 000 concerning fuel rail tubing. The consumer smelled fuel odor while driving. Made an inspection under the hood, and located fuel leaking onto the engine from a pin hole in the fuel rail tubing. The consumer contacted the dealer, and was informed that this part was not covered under the manufacturer's recall. However, the part was available for analysis.

While driving consumer smelled gasoline fumes from the vent. Also, noticed oil leaking from underneath the vehicle while parked. Consumer took the vehicle to the dealer for inspection, and mechanic advised consumer that there was no recall on this vehicle. But, consumer informed the mechanic that this problem still occurred, and had not been resolved. Mechanic did not inspect the vehicle, and informed consumer that this vehicle worked as designed.

This vehicle had a fuel leak similar to the failure described in the fuel rail tubing recall 04V110000. But this vehicle was not included in the recall due to VIN. While driving the consumer smell fuel and the fuel needle was slowly moving down. The consumer was pulling into a gas station when the vehicle cut off. The consumer attempted to restart the vehicle but was not successful. A man at the station was motioning towards the consumer and once he reached the vehicle he told her to stop trying to restart the vehicle because fuel was leaking form her vehicle. The dealer replaced the fuel rail and pump.

Vehicles equipped with 4.0L V8 engines have a condition in which the nylon tubing used in the fuel rail construction may degrade and crack. Additionally, the 1995 model year uses a unique underhood fuel return line that may crack at unusually high rates. Dealer indicated your vehicle is not include in this recall due to the VIN.

The fuel rail leaked gas into the engine compartment of the vehicle. The consumer indicated that their was recall for this problem but that the 1995 Aurora. The automobile dispute resolution center sent the consumer a copy of a draft recall letter, which would include the consumer's car, but the expander recall still hasn't been issued.

1995 olds aruora - fuel return line spraying fuel over engine. Opened hood to change oil and noticed fuel spray. Had to tow to a dealer. Dealer replaced center fuel line and cleaned injectors. Think part #25604921 - GM says this car VIN is not under the current recall (04614 or 04V11000) for the same issue. Paid $550 for repair and almost my sons life.
