The contact owns a 2005 Nissan Murano. While operating the vehicle, the SRS sensor indicator continued to flash. The vehicle was taken to pocatello Nissan (1900 flandro dr, pocatello, id) where it was diagnosed that the air bag control sensor was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. Also, while operating the vehicle, the driver's side seat back moved because the seat frame was fractured. The seat was repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failures. The VIN was not available. The failure mileage was 120,000.
Back in April my Murano would turn off whether I was accelerating or just sitting at a stop light, the brake light and battery light would come on and vehicle wouldnt start back up, ended up having it towed 3 different times to mechanic who couldnt figure out what was wrong because it wasnt showing any codes so from there had it towed to newton Nissan where it took them 10 days to diagnose it was the alternator (replaced battery first but that didnt work)ended up getting the Nissan alternator versus aftermarket for the warranty, get it back everything is fine, now in August alternator fails out again, back to newton Nissan we go, the replace "alternator" and when I get it back power steering isnt working so after the fixed that everything was fine until it started shutting off on me again like the very first time. Meanwhile ive had to pay over $1000 for the alternator work which was recalled however my VIN didnt fall under the recall. Engine compartment and hood of car are also so hot you cant touch them even after just driving 1 mile in 70 degreee weather however the temperature gauge isnt running high. Now the airbag light is flashing on and off upon starting. I tried cycling the engine nurmerous times but the light is still on. Nissan said they will have to replace whole unit for $5000 because they cant pin point airbag issue. Airbag issue isnt fixed and nobody can tell me if I have a working air bag or not. Im not sure if I need to contact an attorney because im now concerned about the safety of my 4 year old daughter while in the vehicle.

As a result, the contact sustained chest and knee injuries that required medical attention. The passenger sustained neck, knee, shoulder, and right wrist injuries that required medical attention. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to an independent lot. The vehicle was destroyed. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 122,000.

The contact owns a 2005 Nissan Murano. While driving 20 mph, there was a loud noise in the vehicle and the air bags deployed without warning. As a result, the air bag struck the contact in the face. Medical attention was not required. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to the contact's residence. Two weeks later, the contact heard another loud noise and the passenger side seat belt system exploded without warning. A police report was filed. The contact was not injured. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 99,000.
On April 10, 2015 approximately 7:50 am, I was driving East bound on sand lake road orlando Florida in the slow lane when a white Dodge stratus suddenly appeared out of no-where turned into the flow of traffic causing me to hit his passenger side of his car. Unfortunately the air bags did not deploy and I injured my left hand, left knee as well as got whiplash...updated 05/07/15
The contact owns a 2005 Nissan Murano. The contact stated that the air bag warning light would intermittently flash and the horn failed to work. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 195,000.
My concerns are there any recalls including safety on my 2005 Murano the vehicles check engine light, week later at various times while in park and running the car will shut off the air bag warning icon, at various times the vehicle would slow while driving and not respond to gas pedal also the ABS warning light appeared at times the windows roll down on their own while vehicle is off I have not taken the vehicle for repairs.
In 2013 I had to have my driver seat bracket welded due to it breaking. My airbag lights flash continuously since about 2006 and I was told that it would be a few thousand dollars to replace the sensor, also my check engine light comes on and then goes off. When I took it in they said it could be several things from catalytic converter to an exhaust issue and that it would be trial and error to figure out which would remy the problem. Not to mention my driver side visor wont stay up and my alternator keeps draining my battery so I have to replace yearly. Someone please help.
