Takata recall - I have been waiting since early 2016 to get the takata airbags replace in my vehicle. A call today to Mercedes Benz customer service revealed that the NHTSA directed that other models be repaired first and they have no idea when I will get replacement airbags. I also received a notice today of the takata company filing for bankruptcy. I am concerned that I may never get these airbags replaced and do not understand why my life is not as important as someone with a more expensive automobile.

Either tk holdings should provide the repair part or Mercedes should as they have an obligation to do what they can to ensure the safety of their customers.I therefore want a resolution very soon, there has been too much delay.

Takata recall - airbag NHTSA recall #'s 16V-081 and 16V-363. Have called the mfg and have not received any resolution. They keep putting us off by saying parts not available yet. Have been waiting over a year. Wife and I are afraid to drive vehicle and is causing considerable stress (she is 67 yrs and I am 74) we don't need. What are our options for resolution. Takata recall - Mercedes just stonewalls. One of the two recalls ( both driver and passenger are recalled) is going on two years yet I have received no additional info. All I am told when I call is that they are waiting on parts and will get to it "as soon a possible". I live in dallas, tx. High temperatures and high humidity. My research shows that Mercedes has only replaced less than 2% of the recalled airbags: The lowest % of any manufacturer.

Takata recall- recv'd notice that part was available to fix, was turned away by service departments stating the part is still pending. I have 2 defective airbags and this is transportation that is used by myself to Transport my children. I feel very unsafe and have been patiently waiting for over a year for these replacement airbags. We want to pass this car down to my teenage son to start driving, but are unable to do so with the lack of safety. Please resolve this issue asap!

Takata recall: Years ago I was contacted by mail to notify my dealership to replace my air bags as soon as possible. When I called they said your parts have been ordered we will call you when they arrive. No call. A year later same thing. Call the dealership immediately to replace your air bags it is very dangerous to not have them replaced. Called only to be told.... the part has not arrived yet. Now it has been over 3 years and they say..... the part is on back order!!! Mercedes of orlando (maitland) spoke with lynn. I received a notice from an attorney stating there is a law suit starting up regarding this situation. I will personally be contacting him. Also if I or my family is seriously injured I am holding Mercedes of orlando responsible.

Zt motors, ft. Walton beach, fl, will not order the parts necessary to comply with this recall. They will not accept this vehicle on a trade for a new vehicle without the recall repair. So I am stuck with a vehicle that needs a recall repair unless I pay for the repair. This is a totally unacceptable situation.

Takata recall. The contact owns a 2010 Mercedes-Benz Glk350. The contact stated that the air bag warning indicator remained illuminated while driving various speeds. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 16V081000 (air bags). The part needed for the repair was not available. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact called Mercedes-Benz of boston (259 mcgrath hwy, somerville, MA 02143, phone number: (617) 666-4100) and was informed that the remedy part would not be available until 2018. The manufacturer informed the contact that they would call her back. The approximate failure mileage was 127,000. VIN tool confirms parts not available.

My transmission began leaking fluid with 22,000 miles on it and now the transfer case needs to be replaced because it is leaking transmission fluid. I was driving up a hill and my SUV felt like it was skipping gears. The next day I noticed red liquid on the garage floor. It was towed to Mercedes service department in hoover and supposedly fix. However, the transfer case is still leaking.
