Takata recall:recieved notice of recall July,2016.didnot recieve a notice from from the Lincoln motor company as of yet, today is 11/I/2017, that new air bag is available.I cannot believe that you would allow Lincoln not to replace the air bag in a timely manner.I used to enjoy driving the car but I drive it rarely now because of safety concerns for me and my passengers.
Takata recall: I've been waiting for takata and Ford to fix this serious and dangerous airbag problem for well over a year. Every time I contact the Lincoln dealership I get the same answer..."they haven't shipped us the parts yet." Are they waiting for the car to become obsolete or do they figure that it's cheaper to pay for a 'loss'? now I've heard that takata settled with some car companies but not with Ford! this situation has to be rectified.

I can not have anyone sit in the front seat as that would be dangerous if I had a crash and the defective airbag was released my husband is 86 and it is a burden for him to get in and out of the back seat I am also limited with the number of people who can ride in my car because no one can get in the front passenger seat this is extremely annoying to me and my husband this annoyance has been going on for months as no dealer has offered to help each dealer tells me the Ford company must release new airbag parts its amazing that this situation can go on for long it is totally unfair please tell me if there is anyway to remedy this situation thank you
