The car lost all power while driving in traffic. Speed was ~30mph and at coming up to an intersection the car was acting erratically and the dash indicator lights all lit up. I went to slow down and move out of traffic and the car lost all engine power and electrical power. I could not restart the vehicle.

Jeep and Dealers are failing to complete safety Recall NHTSA Recall Number24V-720. My vehicle was dropped off at the dealership ( Repair orders attached ) on Dec 11 for the recall. Jeep has launched the recall process which is a software update and a specific drive cycle. I have reasons to believe that the dealership did not properly followed the steps after the software updates. I have GPS logs to show. I had contacted Jeep support about that and I did not receive any positive help on this. Vehicle was sent out again on Jan 6th, but still I have no confidence that the steps were followed properly. Internet is flooded with how Jeep has poorly managed the recall process by over complicating the drive cycle and how dealers are negligent about the process. This is a safety recall and could cause fire/explosion and take lives. I strongly advise NHTSA to intervene and make JEEP/Dealers liable to ensure the process is followed.

2 incidents of loss of power with the electric motor at high speed. The hybrid electric motor unexpectedly lost power at 75 mph on the highway, alongside other vehicles moving at the same speed. This sudden loss of power caused the vehicle to drop to 55 mph, and not go above that speed, risking a potential collision from behind. Driving at 55 mph on Texas highways with a speed limit of 75 mph is very dangerous. The second time was exactly like the first but at 60mph. It has not been able to be reproduced. it has been inspected several time by the dealership. There was no warning of any kind.

Manufacturer Recall Number95B NHTSA Recall Number24V-720 Recall StatusRecall Incomplete Summary In rare circumstances, a battery pack may contain cells with separator damage. Separator damage, combined with other complex interactions within the cells, may lead to a vehicle fire. Safety Risk A vehicle fire can result in increased risk of occupant injury and/or injury to persons outside the vehicle, as well as property damage. Remedy FCA US will conduct a voluntary safety recall on all affected vehicles. Remedy is a software flash followed by a HV battery replacement if needed. ******* The above is the recall the was released in, i believe, October. I have been scared to drive the car since. I cant park it at my house because i only have driveway parking right next to my house. I am scared of this car. The recall fix is now available but all dealers within 40 miles either -??dont have the fix-??, -??dont have any availability-??, or -??put you on a waiting list-??. So after almost 3 months this deadly issue still is not fixed and cant be fixed.

The fact that Jeep has a recall that is not repairable for what appears to be months now is completely unacceptable. I bought this hybrid for a reason. To drive it around town without having to use gas. Now I can't charge my Jeep or park it in my garage" Then calling customer service is a joke. No buy back or gas reimbursement"

The battery recall from Jeep still does not have any tentative timeline and no further communications from Jeep. At this point, Jeep has not offered any compensation towards the gas costs which otherwise could have been much less with electricity. Safety is my primary concern and I have to rent vehicles for the major trips especially during the holiday months.

I am writing to express my serious concerns regarding the safety recall issued for my 2023 Jeep Wrangler Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) under Recall Number 95B/NHTSA 24V-720. The recall highlights a critical defect in the High Voltage (HV) battery, which poses a severe risk of fire due to internal cell damage caused by defective components. While I understand that FCA US LLC is working on a remedy, I have not been provided with a clear timeline for repairs, leaving me in a highly unsafe and uncertain situation. The fact that the recall advises against charging the vehicle and even recommends parking it away from structures and other vehicles emphasizes the magnitude of the fire hazard. This creates a significant inconvenience and renders the vehicle virtually unusable for its intended purpose. I no longer feel comfortable driving or even owning this vehicle, as the defect jeopardizes my safety, the safety of others, and my property. The lack of immediate resolution places me in a position where I am unable to confidently rely on this vehicle without fear of a catastrophic event. I urge the NHTSA to intervene and ensure that FCA US LLC provides a timely resolution, including exploring options for replacement or refund, as this defect makes the vehicle a danger to myself and the community. Given the serious nature of this recall, I feel that no consumer should be left waiting without an actionable solution while exposed to such a critical safety risk.

Second time we have had an issue with the battery. Unable to plug it is because of an unresolved battery recall, this time for over a month. We purchased the vehicle specifically for the battery and now we have to buy fuel.

Complaint Regarding Recall 24V720000 -?" Jeep Wrangler 4xe (2023 Model) I am filing this complaint regarding the recall of my 2023 Jeep Wrangler 4xe (VIN: [XXX] - under Recall Number 24V720000, issued due to a potential fire risk. This defect represents a severe safety hazard that jeopardizes the safety of my family, property, and others. Details of the Issue: The recall was issued due to a defect in the hybrid powertrain that could result in a fire, even when the vehicle is parked and turned off. Jeep/Stellantis has advised owners to: -??Refrain from charging the vehicle. -??Park it away from structures and other vehicles. This advisory alone highlights the gravity of the issue, rendering the vehicle unsafe to use as intended. Steps Taken to Remedy: -??I have contacted my dealership and Stellantis to schedule a repair; however, no remedy has been made available to date. -??It has become clear that Stellantis is unable to provide a timely or effective solution to fix this safety-critical defect. Lemon Law Qualification: California Lemon Law, under the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act, provides protections for substantial defects that impair the use, value, or safety of a vehicle. The following criteria are met: 1.Substantial Safety Defect: A fire risk qualifies as a substantial defect that threatens the safety of occupants and property. 2.Reasonable Repair Attempts: Despite the recall, Stellantis has not resolved the issue, and the vehicle remains unusable for its intended purpose. 3.Unresolved Issue: My vehicle has been effectively out of service due to safety concerns, and Stellantis has been unable to provide a timeline for resolution. Request for Buyback: Given the seriousness of this defect and the inability to remedy it, I am requesting that Stellantis initiate a buyback under California Lemon Law. A fire risk is not an issue to delay or hope for a fix-?"it demands immediate resolution. I have kept detailed records of all communication INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA),

On Friday, [XXX] I was driving my jeep to work in the early morning hours. I was about ? mile from getting on the highway when my jeep completely shut down. Everything inside of my jeep went black and I was completely horrified. I managed to get the jeep started and was able to drive to work. When I got to work I immediately called Ourisman Jeep in Bowie Maryland and explained the problem to them. I brought the jeep in on Monday, October 7th and my Jeep has been there since then. After Ourisman having the jeep for two weeks, I was informed that my Jeep was part of a newly released recall involving electric jeeps with no projected resolution date. I no longer feel safe driving my Jeep and I have asked for a -??swap-?? of sorts. I have requested another vehicle that is exactly the same as my current vehicle just NOT ELECTRIC. I was been advised that my request needed to be escalated but after many many conversations there is still no resolution to my request. I am absolutely disappointed with the way this situation has been handled. I cannot help but think of the deadly repercussions had I been on the highway when this incident occurred. I did not ask for this inconvenience that is totally exhausted me financially and emotionally. I am driving a rental car that I am paying for wit the understanding of reimbursement once I return the vehicle. This issue is not one that I created but rather a failing on the corporation to provide a swift and satisfying resolution. While I-??m sure this may cause Jeep to lose significant revenue, I find it completely disgusting that they would put corporate dollars before the safety of its owners. As of today 11/22/26 I have no resolution, no car and paying close to $400 per week for a rental car! INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
