On [XXX] I bought a 2022 Jeep wrangler 392 from Ron Tonkin Jeep in Milwaukie, OR. It was certified pre owned and still under full manufacturer warranty. I drove the car for one day then parked it at Portland airport before flying to Chicago. A week later while still out of town, I received a call from the parking lot manager that my car spontaneously caught on fire last night and violently burned also damaging 3 cars near it. The fire department came and put out the fire and said the fire was caused by -??mechanical failure, malfunction-??. Jeep has refused to cover this claim because they said the cause of the fire cannot be determined. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
Dec 23 took mine in for recall service. Had no issues prior to having this done. Pick up the same day. Was told passed the drive test. Drove to work Dec 24th (26 miles round trip) no issues. Did not drive on Christmas. Placed it to charge that night, for drive to work the 26th. Noticed it did not charge completely. On the way in to work service light came on. Time to leave work, it would not start. Dash had the service charging station. Waited a few minutes. Then it did finally start. Tried to place it in esave. It would not go. Regeneration went off. It drove horrible. Slow acceleration, especially from a complete stop. Got it home and had it towed to a different dealership that had performed the update. Was told a module is bad and they are keeping it until the 30th to check for other issues. They said as a precaution to ensure I was safe on the road. Terrifying experience.
My instrument control panel went completely black without any prior glitches. I couldn't see my speed, cruise control lights, engine temp, gas gauge...nothing on my panel displayed.
Wife was going to work. Started to notice difference in the feel of the drive. Then the check engine light came on. When she started to accelerate the vehicle jerks. When the vehicle is at a stop then accelerates the it takes about 5 seconds for the car to start moving. Today the vehicle turns on but can-??t switch gears to put it in reverse or drive. Vehicle is a paper wait and the earliest time I can take in to a certified mechanic is 1 month. I-??ve had multiple issues with this car. Death wobble, electric recalls. And a recall that stated part not available park your car not in your garage and don-??t charge your hybrid-??. How can this car be allowed on the streets with this many issues under 2 years

Jeep wrangler has 46k miles, 2 years, but battery died while car was running. Would not start once car engine shut down. I was stuck in the middle of a busy intersection and was out ant risk of an collision. Upon running diagnostics, battery is fully drained and alternator is not starting. Online forms suggest it could be the alternative battery, charging the start/stop function, that died and drained the charge from the main battery. Prior to the incident, there was a low voltage warning which got worse over 2 days, until ultimately it died completely.

On Nov 16, 2024 I was driving and turned a corner as soon as I did the engine light and another light came on with a message saying do not shift or turn off. I had it towed to Capital Jeep and they said it was my main and aux battery, a week later which was yesterday 11-29-24 the same lights and message came on, I pulled into the dealership and they said it was the green bus connecter behind the glove box, then today 11-30-24 I was driving same lights and message again, however this time I could not go passed 5 miles an hour. So now it-??s towed again and sitting at the dealership
Received a notice in October that there is a chance for the battery in the vehicle I currently own could start on fire. They stated they have no resolution for this at the time. I was informed not to fully charge it, not to park near buildings, and not to park near other vehicles. This is impossible for me to do at this time. I have HOA-??s where I am renting that I cannot park in the street. I also have children that I do not want in this vehicle or driving this vehicle if there is such a serious malfunction that could happen. I am a special education teacher, and there-??s no place for me to park where I work that is away from buildings, other vehicles and children. I called the dealership and had text messages with them. I have called the manufacturing number and was told I was put on another list and a person would call me in a day or two. Two weeks went by. I called again. I still have not had a case manager call me to let me know what my options are. I would like my money back and want to return this vehicle. I do not feel safe driving it. This recall has no resolution which is absolutely unacceptable. There is a fire risk for my primary vehicle, and I am unable to charge it - the entire reason I purchased this vehicle at a premium.

My 2022 Jeep has an open recall and Not enough is being done to remedy the situation. I bought a -??hybrid jeep-?? to save on gas money and now I-??m spending more money on gas than ever. I want compensation!
Complete loss of dashboard functionality while driving in hybrid mode. Dash suddenly went black, all warning lights started flashing and tachometer and charging gauge dials bouncing. Drove to Suburban Jeep Ann Arbor with problem still occurring. Showed dash display to service representative. Service technician unable to replicate problem. Service representative communicated vehicle is operating as intended and is ready for pick up.
My vehicle has been nearly underivable since purchased. Several times I have taken the car in for things like: No power. The car will drive, but slowly and with no "get up and go". It takes quite a bit of time to get to legal driving speed. This has happened on a highway at least once, and multiple times on regular roads. My electrical system has failed, and all components, including my battery, has shut down. This happened on the highway on my way to work. I lost time at work as well as my car for 34 days. (This is the second time it has happened). My gas tank cover refusing to open/my gas tank refusing to accept gas. My electric battery getting too hot and burning through wires, including my coolant tubes, which in turn, shut my car down. This happened on a major road. All of these things have caused immediate safety to myself and others that have been in my car when it stopped working. I have thankfully been able to get myself off the road in all of these instances without causing an accident. There have been several break downs where I had to have someone come get me, and I have had it towed several times to the dealership as well. I have broken down entirely on the highway several times, slowing to a stop and having people needing to drive around me, or stop to help. I have taken the vehicle in many, many times and have been without my car for over 40 days (if I counted, it would be over 60 days). The dealership has told me it's a 4xe problem, but then lists the problem on paper as various things (coolant leaks, high voltage battery problem). At this point, I am afraid to drive it, as I have 1 active recall with no remedy available and a few alerts. My check engine light came on again this morning with no reasoning behind it, and the Jeep says to check ABS braking system and electrical systems. It's my very expensive daily driver. It has been inspected by two dealerships, with me taking into one dealership at least 12 times for recalls and repairs.

Recall #95B one of many since I purchased my vehicle. Cannot use it for what it was purchased for which was to use electric and save gas money. Now recall states not to plug in vehicle and that it can catch fire and explode at any time running or not. I am scared to death to drive this vehicle and have my child anywhere near it. And it is our only vehicle which costs me over $1000 a month payment I can barely afford. Its causing us extreme stress and anxiety. I have been trying for months to get rid of this vehicle which has dropped over 50% in the value.
