Vehicle shut off while driving with no warning. Would not restart. Many warning lights. Was traveling in the passing lane moving at about 70mph when vehicle turned off. All exterior lighting went out at night. And I had to coast and wait for a tow on the side of the road

As I drove off the lot I noticed the instrument panel had a distortion on it. Dealership was unable to fix (after a software upgrade). More concerning is the car shakes violently when hitting a bump in the road. I took it in 3 times without resolution. Always on the highway, at first at high speeds, now even going below the speed limit. Sometimes it resolves on it's own, but lately I have to slow down or stop to make the shaking stop. (which is very dangerous when driving on a 65mph highway), the steering wheel shakes left to right and is very loose during these times. I feel very unsafe and it feels like the wheels are going to fall off. This is a brand new vehicle. It happened 5 times on a 15 mile trip to work this morning and has been happening since I bought the car in late February 2019.

The contact owns a 2019 Jeep Wrangler. While driving, the contact heard a loud popping noise and the entire console screen failed. The contact stopped and restarted the vehicle, but the entire console screen still failed to function. The contact was still able to drive the vehicle. The contact called cherry hill Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram (1708 w, NJ-70, cherry hill, NJ 08002, (856) 471-1058) and they asked when she could bring in the vehicle. In addition, the contact stated that after the vehicle being parked for two days at an airport lot, the vehicle was later started and the entire console screen failed and the power steering seized. As a result, the vehicle veered off the road and crashed into a telephone pole. The contact's son was medically checked out with an ice pack to the face but no ambulance services were needed. A police report was filed. The front of the vehicle was damaged and it was towed with the rear wheels being locked making it difficult to tow to a tow yard. The manufacturer filed a case and would have an investigator inspect the vehicle. The manufacturer stated it would take two to four weeks until they have some findings on the issue and had not offered a loaner vehicle. The failure mileage was 848.

Push button start with keyless entry. Vehicle does not give audible warning when you leave the vehicle running on exit. This is a safety hazard and could cause death if parked in your home garage. It is very easy put the gearshift in park and exit the vehicle without turning off the engine. (I have done this twice within a 3 month period) an audible warning on exit, which indicates the motor is still running, would prevent this from taking place.
