The contact owns a 2011 Jeep Liberty limited. The contact was driving approximately 40-70 mph when the vehicle began to hesitate and jerk without warning. The failure became a continuous occurrence and the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer for diagnosis. The dealer informed the contact that the failure was related to the faulty software but there was no remedy to the failure. The failure persisted. The vehicle was taken to the dealer three times but never repaired. The contact stated that most recently, the vehicle was left in the dealers possession for approximately thirty days for extensive inspection. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 606.
