The firewall inside engine compartment has heat damage from excessive heat coming from engine area near turbo. It appears there may have been fire. Potential fire hazard. Dealer wants to charge me to diagnose and engine is still under warranty. I called fca customer care and they said there is nothing they can do about dealer charge never thought it is warranty item. The consumer provided photos.

I got a service engine soon light. When I took it to the dealer they said it was purge valve on the evaporator system. I encounter the same problem on my 2014 Dodge durango at the same mileage. I think Chrysler has a systemic problem with this part of their emission system.

While in motion in highway speeds my Jeep Grand Cherokee 2015 began to stall and suddenly turned off. The truck would not acclerate once I turned it on and I couldn't change gears. As this occured I began to lose control and nearly crashed into traffic. This is not the first incident as this has occured severaal times each resulting in near fatal collisions. I have reached out several time to the Jeep dealers who have already fixed the so called problem 3 times and keep telling me there is nothing wrong with the truck.

Upon entering the city street a loud bang was heard from the hood of the vehicle and car stopped in the middle of the road. Power was in the vehicle but ability to shift in gear was gone. After turning off and back on I was able to put the Jeep in drive in order to clear the road as to avoid a traffic build up. It seems the transmission is gone because the vehicle will not change into gear nor reverse. A wrecker company was contacted to bring Jeep to dealer.

My 6.4 hemi had a lifter failure. It has been very well maintain oil changes every 3/5700 miles. 1000 miles ago had the oil change. As it got warmer the engine had a 'tick' noise. Took it into the dealership to find out a very common lifter issue has happen. I am shy 3 months post warranty. Team srt claimed it can be normal maintenance for the lifters to fail and wipe out the cam. They will not cover it. Google search hemi lifter issue. You'll see tons of cases.

Since the recall a year ago (spring 2019) the vehicle has a serious hesitation in the throttle response until the ecodiesel engine reaches full operating temperature. This creates a serious safety hazard. The fuel mileage has dropped a minimum of 4 mpg. I received a second notice (12/10) regarding an "approved emissions modification disclosure 3.0L diesel" the local dealer was unaware and stated it was the previous recall. I called "fca" (Jeep) and was informed that this was the precurser to another recall. The only identifying numbers I have are "FC106038" and "****auto* for aadc 030 7/1/2" marked on the notice. This is a serious problem that needs a fix of some sort. The cure for the original recall seems to be worse than the original problem. The original recall repair was performed 9/17/19.

Heard ticking coming from engine shortly after routine oil change. Brought the car in, and was told I had to have intake & exhaust camshaft & lifters replaced. Had repaired, a week later check engine light came on. Got a P0456 code, brought it in and at this point they said I needed to replace evaporative purge valve. Did that, a week later, check engine light is on again. Nothing changed in the car when the light goes on, it just come on and stays a solid yellow upon startup

The vehicle engine had a clicking/ticking noise for well over a year. We brought this issue up with the service dept and were told it was nothing to worry about. While driving home 1 night on the highway the vehicle started to hesitate/stutter and we had a problem accelerating while driving. We drove the vehicle for 20 miles at 40 mph with the hazards on I95. We found out from service the next day that the issue was a damaged camshaft due to a failed rocker arm. All rockers and lifters needed to be replaced along with the valve cover gaskets and intake seals. Since the issue occured out of warranty I was stuck with footing the whole $1961.49 bill even though I brought the issue up with service while under warranty.

Continual engine problem light due to egr sensor fouled. Have had it serviced numerous times. Causes acceleration issues and shifting issues. Vehicle acceleration causes a safety issue in traffic while moving and when trying to enter traffic from a stop. Was told by dealer there was a recall coming in February, but now they say they never heard of a recall. I am hesitant to travel and have the vehicle break down. I am attaching 5 of the repairs that I can find, but there have been more for the same reason, and 1 additional since I have an appt on 2/18/2020 to fix it in preparation for a trip from NY to fl.

We tried to enter hwy 65 North in mo. From a side hwy. Hwy 65 is a 4 lane hwy, 2 lanes North and 2 lanes South. We crossed the 2 South lanes and waited till we could enter the North bound lanes. When it was safe to go I stepped on the throttle and the motor stayed at idle. It put us in the middle of the 2 norh lanes and stopped. I kept pressing on the throttle until we krept accross the lanes and out of traffic coming at us at 65 mph. This has happened several times. It has happened in town where we live in AZ. We also had trouble when we entered the road by our hotel. This is going to cause some one to be killed. This problem started after an emissions recall was installed. Recall / csn 1 V08 - 3.0 diesel

Engine coolant leak. Had to replace the turbo water feed tube located under the intake manifold. The tube has approximate 3" rubber line which is exposed to high temperatures and over time fails, requiring replacement. Repair cost of $1101.72. After replacing the hose and completing the repair, I still had a coolant leak. This time it appeared to be the water pump. I went to the dealer to get the purchase the pump and there was a mechanic note stating to check the water pump seals as it is known to have a pinched seal which causes leakage. To replace the seals, the mechanic has to remove the intake manifold and the covers in front of the water pump before the pump can be removed (labor intensive). Up until I had the VO8 recall I did not experience any problems. I also recently had a service def system alert. When I spoke with the mechanic he stated are you having coolant leakage and I said yes. The mechanic said it sounds like your turbo is about to fail. This is when I identified there is a VO1 recall.

My 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee has 85,820 miles & the radiator was found leaking when brought in for a engine code indicating the thermostat was bad. The thermostat was replaced ($130 part) and then the Chrysler dealer told me the radiator needed to be replaced. My dealer mentioned this has been more common with Jeep and they now keep the radiator in stock. It cost just under an additional $900 to have the radiator replaced. If so many Jeep's are having the same issue why has a recall not been issued. I have never had a radiator fail in any of my vehicles so soon. Is this not justification for a recall? I would think owners should be notified (ahead of time) of this potential failure if indeed it is this common an occurrence.

I took the vehicle to towbin Dodge in North las vegas for a check engine light. Are used an extended warranty service to get the car looked at and repaired. The maintenance representative advised me that there was an open recall for the omissions on the diesel engine. I was aware of the eco-diesel recall and had decided not to take advantage of this recall. I was prepared not to receive the $3000 that diamond Chrysler Fiat was offering for customers to get this done. I advise matt the maintenance representative not to accomplish the recall.when my wife went to go pick up the vehicle to our surprise the recall was performed. Matt and the service manager jesus admitted to their mistake of accomplishing the recall without our authorization. I have asked him to revert the software to the manufacture default and they are not able to accomplish it. I have spoken to the district service manager robert. I asked robert to buy the vehicle back for me because I do not want itanymore. He said he would coordinate with damian Chrysler Fiat to see what could be done about this. I would like some assistance in coordinating with the manufacture of the vehicle to get it bought back.
