I bought a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4X4 limited edition. I bought 4 new tires the day of the purchase. The TPMS-tire pressure monitoring system began failing a short time thereafter. The light in the dashboard flashed telling me my tire pressure was low on various tires. My wife was the sole driver of the Jeep and she was constantly calling telling me a tire was flat. She worked evening hours. I took the Jeep into les schwab for repair. They advised me the price for the sensors was more than the price of the vehicle. I was constantly putting air in the tires and had to reset the vehicle service mileage.

Since I got the recall notice from Chrysler and I immediately call them to make an appointment but before I went they told me they didn't have the part for the car. They told me to wait until they got the part. So I waited. Today (November 20) my car didn't start when I tried to start it and the car made a clicking sound. So I gave up and when I turn it all off and took the key from the switch, the car still made the beeping sound like if the key was still in the switch. So I locked my car and this evening I went to get something from my car and the battery is dying. So now I can't go to work tomorrow because my car isn't starting. I just recently called Chrysler and they told me that they can't do anything because they didn't have the part and they told me they can't give me a rental because they don't give them for recalls and they told me to call the Chrysler main phone and I did. Chrysler said that they couldn't give a rental car because it's not for the recall and they said they couldn't do anything to fix my car until they make the part. So now I have a broken Jeep outside parked.
