After parking vehicle on an incline, shifted into park and shut off. Suddenly the vehicle rolled backwards down the incline, consumer tried to jump in and stop vehicle, and was crushed by the left front wheel. Dealer has been contacted.
Automatic transmission malfunctioned, causing it to jump out of gears and could result in a crash. Also vehicle was on and in "park" position and the occupant was standing outside of the vehicle when it jumped out of gear and accelerated. Occupant had to jump into the vehicle and stop it. Dealer will replace the transmisson system. Please provide further information and VIN#.
