Dealer was notified of incident. Dmx investigator was called. Dmx investigastor found no defect.

The only damage to the vehicle was the left front door hinge was sprung resulting in the door not closing properly. I have contacted Chrysler and they sent someone to investigate. The reply I received back was that there was no problem and they would not be responsible for any damages to the vehicle.

My vehicle was parked in my garage (backed in). I started the vehicle and moved forward several feet so that I could unload something from the rear storage area. I believed that I had shifted into "park" and exited the vehicle. Vehicle then began moving in reverse, stopping when it struck some cabinets at the rear of the garage. Rear liftgate bent and caused the rear glass to shatter. Although I was fairly sure I had shifted into "park" I assumed responsibility and did not report the incident except to my insurance company.
