The front rotors are warped causing the steering wheel to vibrate violently when the brakes are applied, consumer has to have new rotors or have them turned every 9,000 miles.
When applying brakes, steering wheel vibrates. Brakes and rotors are wearing prematurely. Dealer contacted, had repaired rotors, but problem still exists. Consumer adds now at 22,000 miles is having the same problem. Rotors replaced twice within 18500 miles.

The brakes pulsate dramatically whe applying brakes steadily above 50mph. This started at 23,000 miles, reported at 30,000 miles-no work done, reported again at 32,000 miles, refaced both front rotors-warped. Reported same pulsating at over 50 mph 37,748 miles-refaced both front rotors. In checking your web site there are dozens of complaints along these same lines, abnormal vibrations/ pulsating from brakes when braking over 50mph. This condition is either faulty materials and/or bad engineering. If not corrected by mfg. Serious accidents will result which could have been avoided. Chrysler is aware of these complaints and knows that this repeated problem is not within the normal, acceptable range of performance, but they try to deny they have a serious problem which needs correcting.
Rotors warp every 8000 to 9000 miles. This causes severe shake in steering wheel at all speeds but is very bad if you have to break at higher highway speeds. Feels like vehicle is going to go out of control. Have had rotors replaced or turned 4 times. No solution has worked to-date.
When driving at highway speeds, consumer will apply the brakes and the whole front end of the vehicle will start to shake violently, rotors on vehicle have warped several times, contacted manufacturer, and the manufacturer was not willing to do anything.
Consumer states that since date of purchase the consumer has had the rotors replaced four times and the problem continues. Contacted dealer and the dealer is not willing to do anything. Nlm
Driver lost steering control due to warped/cracked right rear brake rotor. Vehicle rolled over landing on roof. Driver partially ejected. Witness behind Grand Cherokee observed driver fighting with steering wheel prior to rollover.

Since date of purchase, rotors have been working improperly. Vehicle has been shaking when brakes have been applied. Contacted dealer who dealer could not find cause. The problem with the brakes is still occuring.
Rotors replaced at 10700 for warping, then turned 2 more times after, brought back fourth time. The dealer said front rotors and pads now must be replaced at owners expense. This will be the third set of rotors in the Jeep at 32800 miles. The dealer says normal. Seeking hire authority at present. Also steering wheel vibrates bad, saftey problem, did not replace, do want to come back in another 8000 miles or less.
Front brake rotors failed at 11875 miles, 18264 miles, 30815 miles, 38037 miles, 42688 miles and the 6th time at 47312 miles. Early failure begins with slight pulsation feel when brakes are applied and gets progressively worse as milage increases and more brake applications occure. Steering is affected if not attended to immediately. If the rotor heats so high it could possible break causing severe problems.
At highway speeds, front end of vehicle will shake when trying to apply brakes. Upon contacting dealer, dealer noted that rotors needed to be replaced.
