Placed vehicle in park to go into house upon returning vehicle had appeared to have slipped out of gear cross street hitting neighbor vehicle. 43-R200-494
Parked vehicle and it appears to have slipped into reverse while the consumer was not in the vehicle. The vehicle backed out across the street and collided with a parked unoccupied vehicle
Consumper placed the vehicle in park and was standing in the dfoorway when the vehicle jumped out of gear and caused her to fall. The vehicle rolled over her leg and hit a forklift. Once it hit the forklift it jumped into drive and proceeded forward striking a building in front of it. 59-V629-159
On September 27, 2001, I parked my Grand Cherokee in front of my place of business. I left the car idling in park, while I ran into the building to drop something off at the front desk. I was gone for approximately 20 seconds. When I returned my car was rolling backwards through the parking lot. It traveled 214 feet, running up over a curb, over a stop sign and hitting a parked car before stopping.
PE 01 021/roll away in park: While parked and idling vehicle inadvertently commenced to rollaway in reverse. Hit a mailbox and and a parked vehicle. Dealer was notified. Feel free to provide any further information.
Consumer was backing out of a parking space and bumped into the right front corner of another vehicle, consumer put the gear selector in park and exited the vehicle while it was still running, however vehicle jumped in reverse, causing injury to another consumers knee.
Vehicle was idling in driveway in park, consumer states it jumped into reverse hitting a tree, causing damage to the rear, then it jumped into drive hitting another tree denting the front bumper.
