Vehicle was in a idling position of park and slipped into reverse, slamming into multiple vehicles. Vehicle was at dealership being serviced; consumer was outside vehicle, and service technician was operating vehicle at the time.
Consumer states after placing vehicle in park, without warning vehicle jumped out of gear into reverse and rolled backwards. Dealer has been notified and stated because driver did not place the parking brake, the vehicle rolled back.
The consumer left the vehicle with the engine running but the vehicle went in reverse on its own and knocked a gas pump causing fire, the fire was extinguished quickly and the vehicle had minor damage.

Insured thought she had vehicle in park, instead it was in reverse. She ran to try and to stop vehicle stop, but was knocked down and hit her head. The adjuster stated vehicle jumped from park to reverse.
Consumer placed vehicle in park, got out with the engine running, when all of a sudden it started to move backwards, consumer tried to get in the vehicle to apply the brakes, but the door hit her and was knocked down, vehicle was damaged, consumer reported incident to manufacturer but was denied any assistance because they are stating that the emergency brake should have been engaged.

Consumer put key in ignition, gave a little gas, and vehicle lurched into reverse crashing into a building causing damage to the rear of the vehicle, consumer states vehicle was still in park at time of accident, luckily there were no injuries.
While vehicle was parked in garage (new car) with engine running, transmission slipped out of park an into reverse. Drivers side door was open at time and was torn off by right side as it passed by. When car was stopped by insured, indicator still indicated car was in park auto dealer and mge do not accept responsibility, insured willing to go to court. ($6,000 damage) 55-G215-214
