Front brake rotor problem was covered by daimler recall 879. Seems that rear brake rotors should have been covered, too, since they needed to be replaced for the same reason of corrosion.
Defective rear brake rotors corroded. There was recall for front rotors, and this vehicle was included for that recall. But, the problem also existed in the rear rotors, but they were not included in recall.

Rear brake rotors have cracked and corroded to the point where dealer cannot machine them down. Rotors had to be replaced. Front rotors were replaced under recall 879.
Rear brake rotors have prematurely corroded, cause unknown. Recall issued for front corroded rotors. Back brakes and rotors also checked and they were also found to be corroded. Replaced at owner's cost.
Recall # 00V136000 DaimlerChrysler/front brake rotors; dealer had no parts to correct recall campaign. Consumer was told that part(s) were on national back order. Consumer was also told that their customers would be serviced first. Please provide any furhter information.
After having the brake pads replaced dealer noticed rotors were rusting out or flaking which was creating an unsafe condition. Also, due to the brake rotors flaking, hub may eventually separate from the rotors.
When applying brakes under regular braking conditions, no inclement weather, there is a lot of vibration and shaking. The rotors were turned at 30000 miles because they were repeatedly warping. Currently, at 40,000 miles the condition is back. 8ak
Both front brake rotors warped. In addition, transmission failed 3 times; engine head cylinder had eight misfires; power seats fold down into back seat; defective transfer case and air conditioning switch failed.
