I left the vehicle running on an incline to put my groceries in the passenger side. When I went around to the passengr side and opened the rear door the vehicle started rolling backwards. It rolled back and hit another vehicle causing damages to both vehicles.
The consumer pointed out that there were two incidents of the vehicle rolling from parked position. The first incident, the vehicle was parked and the engine was shut off. The second incident, vehicle was parked and engine shut off, gear was in park, the consumer was just about to get out when the vehicle started to move in reverse.
Vehicle was placed in reverse, then consumer placed vehicle in drive, and vehicle suddenly took off in reverse, jumping over a curve, and crashing into neighbors yard.vehicle was in drive it was found.
Vehicle was parked, with the engine running and emergency brake not applied, and vehicle suddenly went backward, consumer jumped in and shut off engine. Consumer stated the transmission slipped out of parked, vehicle suffered damage.

Vehicle was parked and unoccupied when it rolled down the driveway, pulling a consumer under the tires, does not say that any damage was done to vehicle, claim 50-0439-770.
Consumer drove out to mailbox, put vehicle in park, got out to get mail, and vehicle started rolling, consumer attempted to get back into vehicle to stop it, however was run over and injured, claim 49-2082-476.
Consumer put the vehicle in park and stepped out of vehicle, a few seconds later vehicle had moved backwards on its own. Consumer states that the door of the vehicle hit the side of the house, causing damage to the vehicle.
When putting key in ignition and turning it on will allow driver to put vehicle in any gear without pressing brake. Consumer feels this is very dangerous because a small child could get behind the wheel, put key in ignition, and put vehicle into gear without pressing brake.
Consumer put vehicle in park, got out and took six to eight steps and then realized that vehicle was rolling backwards onto the curb and then hit a tree and stopped, consumer then noticed that the gear shift was between neutral and drive, consumer states incident happened several more times, but was able to stop it, consumer no longer owns vehicle.
