I was involved in a (hit & run) rear end accident. Rear end damage only. Both air bags deployed. Front end is not aligned. I've already contacted Hyundai about this incident.
Consumer was traveling about 35mph on a bridge. Bridge roads were covered by black ice, vehicle involved in a collision, and dual airbags didn't deploy. Ther were no injuries.
While driving about 30-35 mph vehicle was involved in a crash. Elantra hit rear corner of a 1995, Dodge, pickup. Entire front end of the Elantra was gone. When this happened, there was no deployment of frontal air bags. The vehicle was totalled and the owner suspects factory defect.
Was traveling at 40mph and rearended another vehicle. Upon impact, neither air bag deployed. Contacted manufacturer & was informed needed more information on vehicle. Had vehicle towed to mechanic for repairs.
