Hybrid cars all share one important feature. "auto stop" stops the engine whenever the car is stopped. This greatly reduces pollution and saves gas by not idling. Without this feature, which is now being used also in many european cars, even on regular gasoline and diesel cars, they cannot obtain the very low pollution certification. On this car from that date on this feature only worked quite intermittently.When car was returned, it worked one day and then failed again.

Same problem as before of engine not stopping when car stops. At my suggestion changed brake switch which also controls the "auto stop" feature. This cured problem at the time but from then on it worked only occasionally

same problem as before, engine not stopping when car stops. car was left at dealer for about 1 week but they claimed they could not find anything wrong. This is possible as this fault has consistently been intermittent.
