The fuel pump failed, causing the vehicle to lose power while I was on the highway. According to my mechanic, it appeared to be the same issue that affected other 2019 Honda CRVs which were recalled, but which did not cover my specific VIN.

While driving the SUV and series of warning lights started going off all at the same time. I took the SUV to Honda dealership and they ran diagnostics and said that all SIX fuel injectors needed to be replaced. Said it was a common problem they we seeing in this make and model of SUV. The faulty fuel injectors was causing fuel pressure problems which sets off all the warning lights is how it was explained to me. Due to the widespread problem with the fuel injectors there was a backlog and wait time of 6 months to order new fuel injectors and replace them. I am just outside of the warranty for the SUV and I went through Honda for Goodwill Assistance. Honda said I was a good candidate to receive because of the low mileage. After many weeks they denied my Goodwill Assistance request and Honda stated they only do Recalls when NHTSA requires them to do a Recall. Please look into faulty fuel injectors because when all the warning lights come on then I loose some of the safety features that come with this SUV. I will be more than willing to provide any other information to prove there's a known and widespread problem with this SUV's fuel injectors. I respectfully request it's investigated and Honda is required to do a Recall. Thank you. There are 11 warning lights that come on, I have provided pictures of a few but listed here are all of them: Electric Parking Brake Problem, Tire Pressure Monitor Problem, Emissions System Problem, Brake System Problem, Brake Hold System Problem, Power Steering System (EPS) Problem, Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) Problem, Hill Start Assist Problem, Adaptive Cruise Control Problem, Collision Mitigation System Problem, Road Departure Mitigation System Problem.

Out of the blue, the high pressure fuel pump failed on this car and had to be replaced. The specifics are if not identical, close to the same as the low pressure fuel pump issue that had a a recall. The car started but then stalled. We were able to restart after disconnecting battery, drove a short distance and the same situation happened. From that moment the car would only start but then immediately stall. The part that was replaced is a Denso 1679050PC, H022M2. The part that the local dealership says was replaced is 06161-5PC-305, We also have reported to Honda Corporate and they are investigating under Case No.14028770. We do not have much documentation as yet, but telephone conversations indicate they are only considering a hardship/loyalty reimbursement as a possibility. It is pending. In addition, I have been advised by our local mechanic that he has the exact same issue in another car, a 2019 Honda Accord.

I bought a Honda CR-V 2019 with 30,695 miles on 7/22/2022 from an authorized dealer. Vehicle had 1 previous owner and a clean record. At around 50,000 miles the car started to have some computer glitches. Interior lights and radio turning on and off. Interior screen changing randomly and rapidly between functions. Nothing to where I was too concerned. I would turn the car on and off and it would fix itself. I am now at 56,000 miles and on 7/23/23 and my car had every light on the dashboard light up. It had the engine light, brake system, traction, steering ACC and was showing warnings for: Adaptive cruise control, Automatic Emergency Braking, Blind spot warning, Forward collision warning, Lane departures warning, Lane keeping assistance, Parking collision warning, Rear cross traffic warning. I just received a call from the Honda Mechanic, and they informed me it was the fuel injectors and possible spark plugs. It will cost $1,730. They are also going to do a computer update and reset. Why is this problem not under warranty? This car is not that old and I make sure all my maintenance is done.

My 2019 CRV stopped running in the middle of the road. The car stalled and every warning light came on. It wouldn-??t restart and had to be towed. Based on research it is the fuel injectors. Honda knows about the problem and won-??t do a recall. Others have said parts are on back order.

Fuel injector failure. Warning lights indicate multiple accessory issues/failures; ie, emergency parking brake, cruise control, lane departure etc. This is a known issue to Honda and the parts are on back order for 6 weeks now.

I have a 2019 Honda CRV, purchased new on Guam from Triple J Honda (Tamuning) on Jan 2020. As of May 2023, my car has about 32,000 miles but my car began having trouble starting [engine made sputtering(?) noises when turning the key] that morning. Then, while driving in traffic, the car had STALLED/STOPPED WORKING in the middle of rush hour (around 9AM) traffic!!! THANK the LORD, though, the traffic light had just turned red so all the other drivers were slowing down around me! I tried over & over again, but the car wouldn't start! So, the police had to stop/redirect traffic and also helped me push my car to a safe area. Almost all the warning signals on my dashboard were lit on, so I wasn't sure what caused the problem. The engine warning light was also on, so I had a towing company take my car home to replace with a new Honda battery. After placing a new Honda car battery (bought at Triple J Tamuning), it still had difficulty starting, made sputtering noises, and was drivable for only 2-3 feet, then it died again! I had to tow my car again but to Triple J Honda (Tamuning) to diagnose the problem. The service advisor told me that the reason why my car won't start is because "You have a major problem with your fuel pump." I researched online and found that 2018-2019 Honda CRV had safety recalls for the fuel pumps. So, I searched the nhtsa & owners.honda.com websites whether there's a safety recall for my car; but there's no recall showing based on my VIN. Is it true that more cars are being still being added or owners notified later about the safety recalls? This 2019 Honda CRV is the only car available to make deliveries/pick up some supplies for my (very small: me & my mom) family business. So, we really do need this car working reliably asap. If Triple J Honda says that I have to pay for the fuel pump replacement because there's no safety recall for my car's VIN, what can/should I do" How can I know or be notified whether my car will get a safety recall" Thank

The car was cranked as usual and immediately the following multiple warnings began scrolling through on screen: Hill start assist problem, adaptive cruise control problem, collision mitigation system problem, road departure mitigation system problem, electric parking brake problem, tire pressure monitor problem. The car was driven directly to Van York Honda Dealership in High Point, NC. Their diagnosis was "needs injectors and pipe". The service representative informed me that the injectors are on backorder with no estimated time of arrival, and you can drive your car, but we do not what it may do. So, the safety issue is that at any point the injectors could fail. After doing my own research, I have been made aware of many others with Honda CRV are having the same problem diagnosed with fuel injectors and are on backorder. I notified American Honda, but they cannot give an estimated time of arrival for injectors either.

On the way home from work, my wife's CRV suddenly cut off in traffic. It wouldn't resart, multiple dash warnings came on. I used a scanner on the scene, and got trouble code 0087 (fuel rail pressure low). Multiple Honda models, including ours, have had fuel pump failure causing a dangerous situation like ours, stopped in middle of busy intersection. Our VIN number shows no recalls, but I feel like it's no coincidence that we have the exact same problem. Honda has a bulletin about swelling in the impeller/vanes inside pump causing it to lock up, and require early replacement. Our vehicle has less than 52,000 miles on it. I have owned about a dozen Hondas over the years, and none have ever needed a fuel pump. If this had happened 5 minutes prior, my wife would have been on the interstate, and in more danger. There were never any symptoms or warnings prior to this incident. The dealer has the car now.

Every warning light flashing, loss of power and none of the advanced features working. Took to Honda dealer on multiple occasions and can't diagnose issue. Had regular maintenance done and now the radiator hose blew off while driving and won't star. Bought brand new and have records of maintenance. Very dangerous due to lack if acceleration when trying to merge or turn into traffic.

2019 CRV 18k mileage stalled without warning while making a right turn onto a heavily travelled two-lane road with a 50 mph speed limit blocking all southbound traffic at the crest of a steep hill. Car would not restart or jump-start. Battery was fine and car started 5 minutes beforehand. No warning lights rough idling, etc. Just dead-stopped. It was towed to a Honda Service Center and problem was diagnosed as a defective fuel pump relay.

The fuel pump failed on my car. I am very lucky and fortunate that I had my car parked in my driveway. I had driven my car a couple times the day it happened and my car started and then immediately shut off, after that, the car would turn over but wouldn't turn on and the battery and oil lights were flashing. I did not need an oil change, I still had 70% life. I called AAA to come because I thought it was my battery, the technician told me that my battery was at 100% and he'd never seen a Honda do this before. I had my car towed to Honda where they found it to be the fuel pump. My car has a little less than 65,000 miles on it and is only 3.5 years old. My car had been running well up until this point. When I asked more and more questions about this, they said that I was getting power to my pump but it wasn't coming on. I was told that it wasn't going to ground. Again, I am lucky that I was in my driveway but they had told me that once my car got to the dealership, they had turned it on and it started up, but then it died. Luckily I wasn't on the road anywhere. I know there is an active recall for Honda CR-V fuel pumps but it doesn't cover what happened to my car which is ridiculous. In all the years I've been driving, I have never had an issue with a fuel pump before, nor should I ever. This is not part of a recall and it should be.

Multiple times all of my dashboard lights come on without notice. After checking my battery, there was no reason. It comes on for days then off. I took it to the honda dealership to che k it it. They stated that it was the fuel injectors, however my year of Honda is mot in the repair. After calling the corporate Honda and Honda of Stonecrest, I have gotten no response at all. It has been close to 2 months.

Driving on road and all of a sudden the car seemed like it was braking. We have don't automatic breaking. The dash lights came on. Engine, steering wheel !, traction control, brake system, and blinking brake light. The last few days it was taking more cranks, this started happening after a new fuel pump was installed last month. This was because of a fuel pump recall.

There is a recall on some "NOT" all 2019 Honda CRV -( Recall consequence: Fuel pump failure can cause an engine stall while driving, increasing the risk of a crash.) While driving my car started to stall and act up like it had bad gas, the dashboard then lit up with every warning possible. I was able to get my car to the dealership I purchased it from. They did the recall search and Zero open recalls for my 2019 honda were found however the mechanic stated it was the fuel pump which is the same problem listed above for the other 2019 CRV. Please investigate and Please help!.
