Takata recall - we have been unable to get the vehicle repaired by our dealer despite being notified by Ford that parts are now available for this specific vehicle and VIN (see attached notices). We have opened a case with Ford. We have been unable to use our vehicle to Transport anyone in the passenger seat for well over a year and although we have made repeated requests to our dealer, Ford of escondido, we have not gotten any satisfaction. We believe the vehicle is unsafe to drive and want to get this inflator replaced as soon as possible.

On April 20th 2018 Ford sent out a letter stating that the airbag replacement part was now available for my vehicle and to contact the dealer to schedule the replacement. I attempted to schedule the appointment yet the dealer stated that they don't have the parts. And they didn't know when they would be in.

Takata recall Ford dealers have repeatedly told me, as late as 4/19/2018, recall airbag parts are "not available yet" for my Ford Ranger, despite an email received from Ford saying I need to get a recall completed and, "your front passenger side airbag inflator may violently explode in the event of a crash. When this happens metal fragments can hit the driver or passengers resulting in serious injury or death." The dealer service department told me to "call back in a few weeks."
Takata recall I have been waiting for about two months now for a replacement airbag for my truck I have call and they said that no airbags have been shipped or even made to replace my airbag I am driving unsafe and if I get in a accident and seriously injured because of the defective airbags there will be a lawsuit it is unsafe for me to be driving with a airbag that can explode any moment
