The truck was totalled two weeks after I bought it, I had paid $2,600 down and traded a 96 Nissan my ins. Only paid partial and I was left a foot; the tread was off just as the recent news report stated.( dot number: Tire size: 16 )

Blisters have appeared between the tread and tire. This showed the steel belts. I am greatly concrned that my tires could have seperated while driving. Could your office please force Firestone to publicly anounce the problem. I know from doing a intence review of the news that Firestone has known of the problem in other countries, but still refuses to say so in usa. This is a significant danger to the public and must have imediate action to save lives. Please help in advising the public of the danger.( dot number: Tire size: 16 )
