Takata airbag, I am trying to get a repair of the passenger side airbag. Called the local Ford dealer 3 mos ago to have the parts ordered but they seem to be dragging their feet. I don't know what else I can do to get this repaired I got my letter stating that the parts were available thru Ford but haven't had any luck. Would like to drive the car someday?

Takata recall I have repeatedly called up to 5 Ford dealers for months and none of them has ever had parts available for NHTSA 17V024. It is now 14 months since this recall was initiated. I am in the atlanta ga area and so in the high risk group.

Takata recall, I have called Ford about the passenger side airbag many times and have had no reasonable reply to the question when will it be done I am constantly concerned for my front seat passenger safety I think Ford would know at least a time frame for this repair but I always get we don't know.
I have been waiting almost two years it seems for parts to become available to replace my passenger side airbag. There has been barely any news about this subject and many of us are starting to lose hope that they are even really concerned about getting these things replaced. I am unable to even have my girlfriend in the car anymore because she feels unsafe. I'm unable to sell the car because people feel unsafe. And I'm unable to trade the car in because the recall is giving the dealerships reason to low-ball me. I live in Florida where it is very humid which is what supposedly causing these things to deteriorate, and yet I've gotten no news for months about when my replacement will be ready. I not only think that the automotive companies should start taking more action in getting this worked out but I think that people who are in my situation should receive compensation. Why should we have to drive around in cars with hand grenades in the dashboard?
Received a second recall on the passenger air bags for the Mustang in March 2017. Called the 800 number and was told that the parts were not available and we would receive a letter when they were. Here we are in December 2017 and still no letter and no fix for the passenger air bag. The driver side air bags were replaced on 8/5/16.
Takata recall, my car isn't safe to drive with zero remedy available for recall and cannot sell vehicle for anything near what I paid or what it is worth if problem was fixed, been almost a year and still no remedy.
Takata recall. I received a letter from Ford in March 2017 stating my passenger airbag is being recalled. I called them in may and they still didn't have a replacement available. I called them today and they still don't have them and couldn't tell me when they would be available. I asked for a loaner and they denied me one. I now have a car that only I can ride in and they won't give me a loaner. This amount of time to replace my airbag is way beyond reasonable.
