I was traveling at about 40 mph in mid morning traffic. I went through a traffic signal on a city street at which time my engine accelerated at a high RPM. I could not control the vehicle or stop it even though I had depressed the brake pedal. I did lose control of my vehicle, spun around totally my vehicle and another and then stopping against guide wire. The engine was still revving when the car stopped. No airbags deployed and I was transported by ems to the er.

The contact was unable to determine when the vehicle would be repaired. The manufacturer was contacted. The contact was not experiencing a failure. VIN tool confirms parts not available.

I had the drivers side air bag replaced on my Mustang by a dealership, but I have not been able to get the passenger side airbag replaced. All of the dealers in my area keep telling me the part is not in stock for the passenger side airbag. Now they say they will call me, but I have not received a call back from any of the dealerships. The car is being driven on city streets and highways. I don't have a current picture of the Mustang but it is in very good shape.

Takata recall I have taken the car in twice to address the recall but the Ford dealer keeps telling me the parts are unavailable. The last time they told me they were distributing the recall parts beginning in the South and working northward (we live in Ohio) whether that is true or not. There are 2 recalls an neither have been addressed in over a year and a half. Our teenage daughter drives this car. Please help. We tried to trade it in and was told since there are outstanding recalls that the value is lessened. That is not right.
